ordered TE from BB, 1 for ps3, and 1 for xbox. Still unsure which system to get, might end getting both. (PS3 CE, and X360 reg.)

I’m pretty sure that backorder on the TE from BestBuy (ps3 version) will still ship on the right date. iirc that backorder status was like that from the beginning.
I talked to a customer service rep from best buy and they assured me that it’d arrive on the date that it says and that typically if it isn’t available or sold out it wouldn’t let me order them

Hey, I’m pretty new to all of this but I’m really interested in Street Fighter IV and I already pre-ordered the Fightstick (non TE). I want to mod it (never modded a stick, or anything for that matter) and I would like to ask some questions concerning the stick. I’ve read some of this thread but it’s soo long so most of them have probably already been answered…
-Is the Standard SF IV FightStick so light that it would disrupt me when I’m playing on my lap?
-Is the SF IV FightStick going to be durable? I wouldn’t want to open it up to mod it, thus removing the warranty, and then it breaking on me.
-I know the pushbuttons are quick disconnects so that should be easy to replace with the Sanwa buttons I expect to get. But how easy is it to replace the joystick itself? How about the balltop?
-How would I replace the artwork on the stick since I think only the TE’s art is not part of the material, or something like that.
Sorry if these questions have been asked a lot. I’ll try to search more…

i’m not markman but what from i heard at gamestop is that they ship on (insert date) but stores dont know when exactly they’ll be getting them. which is why my gamestop isnt doing a midnight release
We already know Gamestop US will be getting them on the 11th. Shin-Rotendo has confirmed this about 8x.
well… when i talked to the guy at my gamestop, he wasnt sure when they’d be getting the sticks and told me that story.
I was just wondering, since the TE stick has a universal mounting plate is it possible to put a Sanwa JLW in there without much trouble?
I have one Xbox 360 TE preorder at a B&M Gamestop, and just picked up another from Best Buy online based on the earlier posted release date. I am highly skeptical that Best Buy has accurate release date info, but I sure would enjoy an extra few days with the stick and SF2THD.
MarkMan…is there any chance that Best Buy’s release date around 2/1 is accurate?
