Dang, this thing is pretty much unplayable. Going back to GGPO/2df until the patch comes out.
haha yeh lag spikes are a major issue. No confirmation when the patch will be released.
Might take a while due to MS cert.

lag spikes are bad. butyou can still get a lot of good connections out there. So i think its far from unplayable( except when it is bad of course), and rivals ggpo, IMO
You knowā¦the Proās arenāt always the guys who find the broken stuff so yeah the pros are helping to work on this but to me that means good ideas are being tossed around. A lot of the broken shit is found by guys toiling away in their bedrooms and living rooms just messing with the system.
mine runs fine also. obviously once in a while youāll get laggy matches but just remember those people and stay away from them. if you have optimal connections for your setup most of your matches shouldnt lag.

So why is someone on beta.capcom.com bitching about Akuma problems and then someone comes in and tells him to do this and that to pick him?! 
Random thing but has anything been addressed about people who continuously drop when losing. I know they get a loss but from I read that they donāt drop in rank which is what they should get as well.

I just hope they put in a way to boot people. It gets old when somebodyās turn comes up and you have to sit with your thumb in your ass hoping they come back.
Be sure to keep the box and the receipt. As crazy as it sounds, the 360 is almost guaranteed to fail eventually.
You could put a tag on all of the boxes and have them say, āThis will break in under 2 years,ā and it wouldnāt be far off.
Just make sure you can get the warranty. Still the best system available. Keep it ridiculously well ventilated.
Iāve been playing HD remix pretty exhaustively and i just wanted to coax a couple of srk memebers into being my friends so i can have more compā¦add me if interested. probably the wrong place for thisā¦sorry.
On the upshot, all 360s have a 3 year warranty. So if it breaks in that time, Microsoft will fix it or replace it for free.

Yes, it is under warranty, but only for RROD. If you have another problem you will need to pay for repairs. Iām on my third in two years. Pretty crap manufactured product but awesome game system.
Not necessarily. Mine didnāt red ring when it broke down. It was freezing up after being on for a few minutes. They still took it in and replaced it for free.

Actually heās right. Iāve seen friends of mine without the RRoD and NOT get it repaired by Microsoft.
BTW 360s are all dropping prices on 9/7/08. Still I try to play my 360 as little as possible, why donāt they have SF2HD Remix for PC? they do that and Iād sell my 360 TOMORROW.
