I think DT won due to his years of experience. He pulled out a great win, but ST isn’t Wong’s game.
Have Fei beat Valle’s of Choi’s O.sagat at Evo several years in a row the we really have something to talk about.
The tiers are narrow in ST, any character can win. But to think Fei can win with any consitiantcy over O.Sagat over the long run is a strech. (Two Expert Players playing each other.) IMHO.
I think Fei is gonna be a whole lot of fun to play in this. Just with the motion change for CW I’ll bet we are gonna see a wholelot more Fei players. Myself included.
well all hits would combo before aswell, provided you were close. So it just sounds like they’ve widened the hit boxes, (you would only mash to do more damage) not really what I call an autocombo. :wonder:
I was under the impression that if you mashed, more hits would come out but it took a certain method of mashing to get those extra hits to combo. From what I understand, in HDR you get the maximum amount of hits and they combo without having to mash.
Before, in original ST, you HAD to mash all three Punches FAST to get the first three hits to Combo and then let go and stop mashing right when the third hit connected to get it to 'stop" and go straight to the fourth punch to get the fourth hit. AND you had to be close.
Now, in Remix, you can actually get all four hits to combo by mashing only one punch button. You still have to be pretty close, but you no longer have to let go or stop to get to the fourth hit.
BUT if you mash all three punches, pretty much if the first hit connects, you get all four hits. It literally looks like he punches upwards in one motion and the Combometer magically registers 4 hits. It’s like super easy-cheesy now.
ok its clear to me now, so mashing has been removed , its a shame that video is with Akuma as you cant really figure out exactly how much damage the MGU does now. But my logic points to that it will no longer be a TOD combo. IMO I would of liked it if the mashing remained but was made slightly easier.
