yes. the screen is acting up again. I’ve posted an out of order sign, but until it gets looked at, people are STILL taking their chances and switchig on/off the game when the screen goes blank. Anything to get your fix, huh? Just don’t say I didn’t warn you.
Hey PoolBoss, very nice arcade you’re running there. I took a peek at your setup, and it’s very well spaced considering that you don’t have much to work with. I played some scrubs at CVS2. Garbage. The left side had a fierce that kind of stuck. Not a real problem though, only once in like three rounds was it a problem, and only for that one instance. I think the player was just having trouble pressing a button. The sticks are a bit short, but you get used to them after a round. They are a little loose, though, makes you small jump when you want to DP. Again, once you get used to it, it’s manageable. The only consistent problem is the cabinet space. Asians are not big people, but the cabinet for CVS2 is still not big enough for even the smallest people. It is kind of fun to hit a guy with a super while elbowing him in the arm, but it’s hard to play that close to someone else.
Just letting you know what I think. I’m used to the freedom of SVGL, so forgive me for bitching. Your room is the best place to play in SF, no question. If only you could find decent players to play there… I used to live up there, and as far as I can remember there haven’t been any good players in SF. Doesn’t look like that’s changed. Hopefully people will get more practice at your place and get good enough to represent the city.

Sorry, not much we can do 'bout the cabinet size. We don’t own the games like SVGL. Our vendor should be looking @ MVC2 today, and I’ll bring up the buttons on CVS2, since someone else mentioned it b4 to me.
There aren’t that many CvS2 players at state so you would have to post ahead of time if you want to see any decent (although obviously not as good as sunnyvale) competition. Actually a couple of the Soul Calibur 2 players are really good though. And you could always stop by to train the regulars.

Dojikyo is right, you’re gonna have to post ahead of time if you want to play any good cvs2 players. A couple of us will surely come out to play you if you let us know when you’ll come by.

MVC2 got a new monitor today. That should solve the screen going black problem. Color adjustments will happen tomorrow when it’s not so crowded.
