About 5 people I talked to lost interest when I told them it was on Saturday.
I don’t see a reason why they should, most of the tournies I’ve heard are on Saturdays.
We can always do a tourney on friday late afternoon. Some tourneys use to do that. Ucb to use have thursday weeklys, not sure if that worked for them but that’s another option.
The Player 1 side of MVC2 seems to be a little messed up. There seems to be a bit of friction as well as some unresponsiveness, i.e. it doesnt block or crouch when the stick is pointed in the direction, etc. Please have it checked out as soon as possible, thanks! Any word on a new tournement?
There aren’t even that many MVC2 players at state. I can think of 8-10 max that play on a regular basis. CaptainStorm you happened to go to state too?

I can’t help getting all emotional and excited when I play a match. In my defense, those were close matches. I almost took you out of the tourney too. 
It’s interesting to see where I made the mistake that made me lose the match. I think what happened at the end of that match was that I was trying to travel across the screen using a CBK (Cold Blue Kick special) and I probably used an LK CBK so that I would land near you but not right next to you. Unfortunately my timing was lousy, you had already gotten off the ground. And you probably predicted that I would throw a CBK and timed it just right. Either that, or you just got lucky. Either way, I wasn’t expecting you to do a dive kick right after getting back up. I was expecting you to stay in the corner and block like a man!
Its interesting seeing where I made the mistake. I’ve noticed what characters I need to be aggressive with and what characters I need to play conservatively and footsies with. With Yun I need to chase after you but keep myself in check once you start your super.
I had another stupid “oh noes” moment with Tension today. He did his knife super, I was right below him. I thought I’d catch him with my ducking HP as he came down from the super. I guess I wasn’t right under him. Lousy-no-horizontal-range move.
The cheeze-it shit was just… dumb. I had to do what I had to do.
