I am assuming this will naturally happen, but can the SF State regulars post — on if the arcade is going to be BEARcade like, I would love to have a closer place to play games with quality machines…although it’s hard to stay away from the sexiest man on earth…Bihn Diesel!
It pretty much is. The same people who provide the games for Bearcade and SJSU now provide games for Rack-N-Cue (SF State)
its a NICE setup, definitely worth a trip. it really has improved by a large margin. all games are high quality setups especially the bigger games. nice sticks and buttons

Wow the arcade looks nice! MvC2 looks great!
Although that’s the only game I was playing most of the time, I took a peek at Tekken 5, and it’s good too.
But only problem (not a big one, depends on how you look at it) I see is that it’s 50 cents each time. I heard some ppl go up to the machine, and ask how much, me or that Ohsu guy playing it said it was 50 each time, even for continues, and they would go “Oh hell no” or “no fucking way.” And leave, but mentioning they’d play it if it was at least 25 cents to continue.
I’d start to learn it too if it was 25 cents to continue…and I’m pretty sure most others would play more often. Is there a chance of changing it to 25c to continue?
Is there an actual address to this place? Because if its as raw as you guys say trips will be made.

About the price of games, I knew this was gonna happen, I think that CvS2, 3S and MvC2 should be $0.25 each game, but I think T5.1 should be at $0.50 since it’s new.
Really appreciate Poolboss doing this though, too bad I have wait till Friday dammit.

Only T5 was 50 cents. everything else was 25 cents. I only played T5 once <.< Btw, I wasn’t really looking but was 5.1 or normal version?

Santhrax is saying it’s 50 cents already, but to CONTINUE for 0.25 cents. I agree, but this doesn’t have to happen right away…but then again, Dark Ressurection is coming out soon, so milking 5.1 for it’s worth before it comes out will be a good idea.
@ 25 cents continue ppl would play more, that’s been proven when SC2 from the old vendor changed it to 25 to continue, and the old players came back regularly again to play before that evasion/boycott of the price for SC2.
And it’s 5.1. You can tell by life bars are greenish-blueish than the 5.0 yellow bars.

i just started a job so i can’t make it on a weekday for at least a few weeks 
i’ll be getting off work at like 4 or so let me know if anyone is playing that late.
is it time to start thinking about some sort of tourney? maybe a weekly or a bigger saturday event. we need to get the word out that sf has a decent arcade now which will hopefully bring in more players which means more competition which means everyone can get better.
