what exactly does this mean? im guessing getting a new vendor would piss off the old one or will the two coexist and specialize in whatever their respective games are? if thats proprietary info that’s fine…just trying to gain a better understanding of everything.
is marvel getting a new cabinet? (it doesnt need one but whatever)

please post what days you’ll be closed if any…i’d hate to make the drive only to find it closed or marvel not be there.
i talk to somebody at the arcade the other day and he said the entire arcade setup should be reaaall nice. bigger screens for marvel and some machines may have p360’s. cvs2 should be coming back. i’m sure that they’re not sure when it will be closed. i’m assuming the day or two before the games get in. so if it gets in thursday i would assume wednesday and maybe tuesday would be closed. and who cares if we piss off the old vendor, mcdonalds shouldnt be mad if we ate at taco bell instead. if its bearcade quality games, we should have a damn nice setup
Hey all,
On Campus Entertainment is going to be taking over the arcade next week. This is what you can expect:

RnC will be open Tues. ALL the current games should be moved out on Wed. The new games will be moved in on Thurs and/or Fri. So the games may or may not be working if you stop by those days. The schedule is not set in stone though.

You can expect more good fighting games. Currently you can expect:
Tekken 5.1 in a dedicated cabinet (ps ports and card readers)
Cvs2 and MvC2 in 33" cabinets (probably 360 joysticks)
SF3:3s in a regular cabinet
Soul Calibur 2 in a regular cabinet.
Maybe a couple older SFs in regular cabinets.
The significant game missing will be GGXX because we are going to wait to test Slash and see if it’s any good. -
If you have any problems/complaints/requests you can contact me directly by emailing games@ocearcades.com or posting here or tell poolboss or an attendant and they will log it for me or call me.
(don’t bother email me about the current games)
Lastly, take it easy on poolboss, he doesn’t have the final say on games. Your previous vendor has the final say and if they won’t bring a game in or give him the wrong info then poolboss can’t do much.

I don’t care if the current vendor gets mad. I was just curious about what would happen to all the current games since pb is bringing in a new vendor. my question has been answered since apparently they’re going to take out ALL the current games. I wasn’t sure if pb is replacing the current big money games ie initial d and ddr. and what of puzzlefighter which has a dedicated crowd?

The entire video game alley will be closed today so that the current machines can be pulled. A delay with the video games has postponed the new games until monday. Sorry guys. If there is any update about them getting here sooner. I’ll post here as soon as I know.

Well its Monday and still nothing here…
While I have not received a specific time frame for arrival, I have not heard about any sort of delay and until I hear otherwise, expect games to arrive today.
Is there anyway you can get into contact with them and see what time they will arrive or finish setting up?
Offtopic: FF7AC was a pretty cool movie, though a bit plotless. Recommended if you are a FF7 fan or can tolerate FF7 in general.
