The 1p left button is unreliable on puzzle fighter.
I believe my vendor tackled the 1p buttons this morning. one had a bad switch and the other wasn’t seated right.
For you MVC2 players: Fix-it expressed your grievences about MVC2, to our vendor personally. We’ll see what comes out of that.
my vendor replaced all the switches on CVS2. he’s going to look into puzzle fighter tomorrow.
Man this thread needs to come back to life. Anyhow I hope we can get a fixed mvc2 sometime soon. I’m not a big mvc2 guy but I do play it once and a while. There really is some kind of an issue when when 2 people play, it’s rather strange. I’m happy that cvs2’s buttons actually work now. Aside from al the technical stuff lets spark some conversation to bring this thread to life. First off what does it take to get Eric Lee to use his real team? I guess since most sfsu people rely on scrubby blanka’s with roll supers he doesn’t find it necesary to bust out K groove Kim/ Morigan/ Cammy-2.
To all the scrubby blanka’s out there, blanka does have combos. You guys just sit on level threes and wait for jump ins our get a lucky roll super. Jumping mk into crouching lk into standind lp into cannonball is a simple combo that is doable. Stop turtling and relying on pure luck and learn how to play the game.
The day Blanka stops turtling is the day that people will stop RCing.
Btw, did that girl ever come? 
No, she never showed. I’m hoping for some answers on monday. I achieved K-Groove rage that day, I had 30% higher attack power and deffence. I JD’d that crap off my chest like nothing, but I still want a reason as to why Sam didn’t come down and tell me the girl wasn’t coming.:mad:
what kyo means about mvc2 is that when one person plays the sticks are more or less fine. however when two people play the sticks lock specifically the down direction on the 1player side. again it only happens when 2 people are playing.
SFSU pool room needs improvement, new tables, etc.
obviously, your new. Our tables are Brunswick Gold Crowns (the standard in top-notch pool rooms) They’d outlast YOU. Each are fitted with Ivan Simonis 860 worsted felt (the best felt there is) and the Aramith premium balls we just put in this semester all around. I’d take a pepsi challenge on the quality of our tables against berkeley and SJSU any day.
You’re better off focusing your anger on MVC2.
Honestly speaking I don;t play much pool since I’m a fighting game junkie …SHORYUKEN.COM. But I have been to UCB’s BEARcade which is a top notch arcade for fighters, but their pool tables suck pretty bad. The Rack&Cue seriously has their stuff together as far a pool is concered. Aside from that we have a ton of hot girls playing pool all the time. Good pool tables and really hot girls pretty much sums up the Rack&Cue.
How embarrassing. Just wait 'til next semester.

the mvc2 controls are in really bad shape now. before it was sporadically bad but now it’s all the time bad. the main problem with the 1p side is that the down direction doesn’t register. 2p is more of the diagonals upward. specifically i think that’s the main problem but the sticks in general aren’t responding at all.
i know it’s a longshot but any chance of switching mvc2 into the puzzle fighter cabinet? it has much more space and the buttons are closer together as they should be. wishful thinking i guess.
haha Sometimes I see blanka scrubs do cross over MK but that’s about it. Too many blanka/sagat/bison scrubs period.
My only gripe with SFSU’s pool area is that it’s too crowded. SJSU has a nice pool hall but I don’t think I can say the same about their tables.

Well, pool isn’t SJSU’s strong suit. Here at SFSU we got some of the best talent in the bay area. That’s why our tables are better. (although it is true that our area allowed it quite small) However, you can say the same about SJSU and their bowling and Berkeley with their arcade. Just by looking at the layout of each arcade, one can see where the emphasis is.
Please do something to mvc2:(
Also too many rugal scrubs. Since when was he popular all of a sudden?
I’ve never seen anyone use Rugal ever. It’s like he’s not even in the game. CPU never picks him either.
There is some scrub who uses sagat/ rugal/ blanka. He totally sucks but when he gets a lucky roll super with blanka sudennly he thinks he’s good. He sucks so bad it’s stupid and whenever he beats me it’s with a scrubby roll super with blanka. He has a stupid attitude and it sickens me that people at his low level think they are better than Chidie and I. All I have to say is is that people like him are lucky that we are handicapped by the controls. If we had p360 joysticks and convex buttons that are closer together things would get dirty. Besides that only a few of us can roll cancel. I don’t even wanna deal wih people and their attitudes if they can’t even rc.
