something is…odd with this site. Everytime I come here I get a notice from my virus blocker saying that a worm was blocked from a redirect action I didn’t confirm.

How do I stop receiving emails telling me that there’s a new reply to a thread I’ve watched? It’s quite annoying and I’ve been looking everywhere for a way to turn it off.
Seconded. I’ve toggled every option I could find in my account preferences to disable emails of new notifications, but I keep receiving them.
In addition inserting non-working embeds, the youtube auto-embed doesn’t support linking to a time in a video.
Any way to speed up the pages? Scrolling in the boards is noticeably laggy, and I don’t think it’s because of the pictures.

I think that because of my Facebook association (which I disassociated now), I can’t seem to upload an avatar without my Facebook pic appearing instead. Any solution to that?

i know this isn’t the best place to ask, but who do I contact on the SRK staff to have my name changed? I msg’d mr. wizard twice to no avail.
I wanted to change my name (since I’m no longer affiliated with vVv) and I didn’t know of any way to get a name change. I figured f it and went to make a new account lol, but I’ve been waiting for the email confirmation for it for like 2 days now. Not in spam, I tried resending it, etc. The new username is ‘CT Chibo’ (no quotes). Could it please be activated?
Last time a name change was available, you had to subscribe or go to a tournament or some shit. Name changes on SRK are rare. Your best bet is to just start a new account.
Is anything going to be done about all the timeouts? SRK is infamous for this shit.

I get an error message that requests I create a message with no more than 20,000 characters.
My post is less than 20,000 though. So what’s the deal?
A guy on reddit.com/r/sf4 made a post saying he can’t register, even though he has no accounts here. (“New registrations are currently not being accepted.”)
This website is coded like fucking shit. Dear god. I’ve tried to offer assistance and been met with cockiness from Mr. Wizard who refuses to even acknowledge that he and the developers of SRK are anything less than inerrant. The truth is that this site is instable and there is NO QA performed because there is no staging server. I question whether or not the site is even edited locally anywhere or if the changes are just made willy-nilly on the production environment.
Just dropping in to let you know that you’re ass. If you had ever taken the time to consider my advice throughout the years instead of coming back at me with douchebaggery I might offer additional suggestions. Since that isnt the case, I’m taking this time to tell you that you fucking suck; the proof is in the pudding.
