From about 3/2 on, if (and only if) I’m logged in, pages take 30+ seconds to load, or go to a blank page (the address is right, just nothing loads), or go to the forum index, or give a ‘there have been too many redirects’ error message.
Beyond that, any function, ‘reply’, ‘edit’, etc takes about the same amount of time, if not just hanging forever.
Again, this only happens if I’m logged in, it loads just fine otherwise (the one thing I haven’t tried is making another account, I think that’s frowned upon)
(edit: and also, did indeed try clearing cookies and such)
what’s with that renaming of thread titles in character forums? In sf4 it’s pretty common **“character quote” Name Combo Thread **or something like that and can be found in every character forum. now in sfxt out of the blue they get renamed? May I ask WHY (and then a few are okay?!)? I thought always that’s pretty neat and part of the charm of the character subforums. As long as the character’s name and function of the thread is ADDITIONALLY in the title I can’t see a legit reason why it should be so boring throughout the whole forum. statement?
Whenever I try to make a post with an image I get a message saying “The submitted message is too long to be processed, please shorten it.”
Every time I try to change my avatar, it keeps resetting back to my old one. Is this common?

I want to get email notifications of all replies to all watched threads.
I have the correct email address listed in home - account - contact details, and in home - account - preferences, I have both of these checked:
Automatically watch threads that you create or when you reply…
and receive email notifications of replies
I almost never get emails when for new replies though. Really, I’d like an email for EVERY alert that I get, but that doesn’t seem to be an option.
Also I just noticed that on the preferences page, clicking save causes all the options to become checked. I tried this in Google Chrome, and also got the same result on a different computer in Firefox.
Editing posts, y u no work.
Have to edit 7 times before it sticks, only in FF.
Am I the only one who sees a yellow background with some type of error message at the top of the main forum list?

Not only does my updated Gravatar take effect on every site except SRK, but it appears different for everyone. I’ve had people say it’s Dormammu, Doctor Strange, or completely blank when it’s supposed to be Painwheel. It used to show up as Strange for me, but now it’s Dormammu again.
.gif avatars aren’t animating anymore.

I don’t know if something got twisted during the reformat that added the character subforums, but this is annoying. I logged out of the forums and the page came up normal – but then I tried to log in from that same page, and although the login was successful I got the error message. I’ve tried reloading, clearing my browser cache, resetting cookies, everything, and the page still won’t display unless I log out. This is also, I hasten to add, the only page anywhere on the forums where this happens to me.
How does the site work for everyone? The last couple days, every several hours, I have HUGE issues loading SRK frontpage/forums. And I mean huge…minutes to show the first 3 articles on the frontpage (background doesn’t even bother with loading, being one of the last elements loaded), forum posts not loading completely, having to refresh the pages all the time.
Any time other than evenings, SRK is just plain unusable (central Europe). Is the site that much overloaded?
While reading articles today I have noticed, using Chrome 18.x (latest), that none of the comments are split up like they normally are. Also, if I scroll to the bottom and choose to log in I am prompted to enter account information for WordPress when I do not have a WordPress account. I have a Disqus account that I use for commenting on the site.
Did something change recently? The same thing happens on my work laptop which is using IE8 and Chrome 18.x as well (both display the same).
I’m having a problem with my avatar. Before I was using this animated avatar from a website. Finally decided to change the avatar and tried with the Gravatar option. When I look at the Avatar settings it says I’m using the gravatar but when I look at the picture it shows the Animated pic (its not animating either). I thought it was a random glitch and it would fix by itself but then someone commented saying they like my avatar. So now I’m confused at whether I can only see the “before” animated avatar to the one that seems to be confirmed by the avatar settings. 
If that makes sense.
The past 2 days I’ve been having a problem where for some reason the complex media bar messes around with all the linked stuff(threads,links,usernames,anything that’s not just plain text or images) on which ever page I’m on. Every single link has the word COMPLEX overlaid on top of it and I honestly can’t read a damn thing because of it. I’ve logged in on 3 different browsers and have gotten the same result.
Basically it looks like this:

the problem for me in firefox is that if i edit once it’s fine, but if i edit a second time without leaving the page, the post goes back to its original form as it was before the first edit. i can get around it if i go to another page then go back to my post afterward, or log out then in again, but these are both annoying to do just to edit a post.
In all honesty i dont even know if this will go through. But basically this. Everytime I hit enter to go down a line in this text box, it goes down two lines instead of one. I can’t quote anyone by hitting reply because if I do it takes me to a seperate page with the the same text box you would use to make a thread while also not quoting the message I wanted. Then finally regardless of whether or not I use that seperate page box or the one in the thread without quoting it always says “ERROR: Please enter a valid message”. Also everytime I try to log out and see if that will fix it, it completely locks the tab until I close it. So…what the fuck?
One last thing. I was having these problems on chrome. Switched over to firefox for this post. Apparently firefox is fine.
