Ahh my eternal rival! I agree with Excadrill and Thundurus. What about the Moody ability, Drizzle + Swift Swim, and Garchomp in OU?
How much of a threat are priority moves in Gen 5? Cause I didn’t like getting Bullet Punched in the face whenever trying to run a trick room team in Gen 4.
Scizor and Conkeldurr are are both extremely common.
Lucario is very likely to have extremespeed or vacuum wave.
Dragonite uses extremespeed sometimes.
Mamoswine and Donphan use Ice shard frequently.
Azumarill almost always has aqua jet.
Slowbro would be a good option if you have a problem with priority.
I’m in favor of all those, I was against Garchomp going to ubers but now that Latios/Latias don’t have Soul Dew that will free up some slots for him. I forgot what moody does 
Moody randomly raises one stat two stages (including accuracy and evasion), and lowers another stat one stage at the end of each turn.
ahh cool, I’m down with that also. I guess if other people want to play by smogon’s official tier list then they should post so. All these bans take the fun outta the metagame.

Back in April…like four times! 
But I’ve been hitting up the Wifi Battle Subway often (I know it’s not the same), and I’ve been making Pokemon as recently as late September. I keep forgetting that this isn’t like last generation which lacked random battles.
yea I was rusty as hell my first match with bbq, but it’s still good to know some things that worked in G4 still do just as well in 5. My whole thing was understanding today’s metagame better since I haven’t battled in months. It’s a good thing I read up on weather control, new item formations, etc. or I would be lost.
It looks like Scald is the water attack of choice for the metagame, 30% burn is too good to pass over.
This move is a godsend for bulky Water types, but Surf and Hydro Pump (on the Special side) are still as viable as ever.
but I only see those running on spec sets, and almost every water type (that matters anyway) is bulky.
Just popping in to ask why evasion increasing moves are banned but accuracy decreasing moves aren’t.
That’s a lot of stuff to ban. Swift Swim Drizzle is the majority of what I fight these days. lol
good question. A team with DT on every pokemon would be more ridiculous as to a team with mostly accuracy decreasing moves. You can phaze out accuracy decreases with switches but when your opponent is constantly abusing DT it makes it harder for you to get them to switch–because you won’t even touch them not unless you haze or something

IMO we should let the other guy know if we’re using something banned by smogon, though, as my current team is designed with the idea that those pokes won’t show up.

Because if someone drops your accuracy, you just switch. If they increase evasion, you aren’t going to be able to touch them.

pokemon grey? interesting, but farily sudden yet again. I’m mean it hasn’t even been a year since B/W came out.
another thing is possibly putting the title on 3DS, because I’m not really in a big rush to own one. I can see them doing this just to counter the pspvita, making it where you HAVE to own a 3DS by the end of the year.
