working on readjusting the team… no excadrill means setting up terrakion becomes harder… you made me realize though, I have no effective way of preventing politoed from setting up drizzle… and that is baaaad D:
I was going to start politoed at first but then I was worried about Tyranitar also getting the start and cancelling out my Drizzle (since he’s slower). Plus, back in G4 Jirachi was one of the best leadoffs and can handle so much shit lol. All the pkmn you gave me rock, but Scizor’s ability is Justified for some reason (Technician is better, for the BP boost). I have a Technician one but I thought it would be good to have another.

i thought i checked everyone’s abilities.
pokegen doesn’t start a fresh slate when i move to the second mon, i have to edit all the slots, i must have made it after i made terrakion and forget to change abilities. I have two scizors that run the exact same set you wanted, i’ll toss you the extra one.
edit: the scizor’s name is “Clampz”, if you don’t mind that I’ll give it to you now, if you prefer another name give me a few minutes?
Cool, Scizor can be added with the list whenever I get it up. I’m actually looking into what can be good right now lol, I’m pissed Thundurus is gone! Maybe Zapdos can reclaim his rightful place in OU.
Heatran seems like a weak link on that team. He’s a free switch for Politoed, and sun is pretty easy to beat with sand. TTar, Dragonite,Terrakion (use scarf if Volcarona becomes an issue) beat sun pretty handily.
Rotom W hurts rain with it’s stab electric attacks and is a great switch in against Gliscors, Slowbros, and Skarmorys that like to switch in on Terrakion.
Scizor is a perfect partner for Rotom W (volt/turn, physical/special, and they cover eachother’s weaknesses) and gives you another potential pursuit user.
Ferrothorn can help round off this team by beating most water types and taking outrages. You can use a shed shell to stop those lame Drag/Mag teams.
This team is the first thing I thought of, so it’s probably super standard.
Personally, I think that sand stall is better than offensive sand.

You want a scarf for ditto.
Victreebel does the special attacker set better because it gets weather ball. I’d advise you to go with mixed Venusaur if you want to use it. Also, Politoed switches in on anything with solar beam for free since it reduces the power AND forces you to charge.
You might consider baton pass over taunt on Gliscor because it cannot sweep while Rotom W or fast special attackers like scarf Toed and Starmie are still around.

ditto doesn’t need a scarf because imposter allows it to transform into whatever my opponent has out, which means it takes on that said characters moves, stats, etc. without having to use transform off a measly speed base. It’s gimmicky at best, but I’ve seen work decent enough in ubers.
Victreebel is simply too frail for me liking it over Venusaur. With Ninetails OU establishing a permanant drought much less chlorophyll activation becomes harder to achieve, and with its lacking defenses many people simply go with Venusaur. Weather Ball is nice to have though.
the purpose of that Gliscor set is to prevent phasing while still being able to hit hard and defend. It also does well against slower opponents who like to S/R, spikes, or use Gliscor as their own setup fodder.
Ditto **NEEDS **scarf: It doesn’t work without scarf, because you will always have to gamble on a speed tie (you have the same speed as the opponent, remember). With scarf you are always faster than what you switch in against, so you force them to switch or die. There’s no reason leave revenge killing boosting sweepers like Dragonite, Volcarona, etc… to a 50/50.
so I’m a gambler lmao, but you know what know that I think about it harder you are right. It would leave a sour taste in my mouth to lose because of a speed tie, though the point being in that is that you run ditto with a scarf to prevent such occurrence. You’ve convinced me.
Also, just tossing this out there - taunt pluss SD is the only reliable way for Gliscor to check Conkledurr after a B.U.
If we get elemental punch tutors this Gen, Conkledurr can become a huge problem… though, it loses the revenge kill with mach punch, or loses healing from drain punch… CB Guts + Mach Punch + Drain Punch + Ice Punch + Payback though… would be crazy good.

I can see running a non scarfed ditto as a gimmick. Most people just switch out to a counter once ditto comes in and hope to force ditto to switch out (unless you boosted really far and you have pretty much allowed ditto to sweep and win). You could catch them off guard and kill their counter to their own pokemon or you could keep it up making them think for sure you have a scarf while dwindling done their pokemon before netting an important KO that allows another one of your pokemon to sweep. I wonder what item you would run to keep the fakeout going. Seems really gimmicky and way too unrealiable. I think I might try it out and see what happens, unfortunately most people I play just keep thier pokemon in and watch as I sweep their team with ditto or ragequit.
Due to team preview, most experienced players won’t boost to the point where an opposing Ditto could potentially sweep.
However, if you were to attempt using a non scarfed ditto, expert belt, wise glasses, muscle band, or metronome could work.

Conkeldurr is the reason Machamp fell to UU, if it were gain elemental punches it would make Machamp completely irrelevant (much like salamence did dragonite when he got outrage)

^ 252 HP EVs. HP is the only stat that matters because it is the only stat that isn’t copied due to transform/Impostor.
Nevermind, did some research, all ditto needs is choice scarf and 252 HP EVs.
