You can redistribute stats.
You know this, right?
I used the gun that Reaver drops when you kill him. It’s Purple and does a fuckton of damage.
Then again I have/had a fuckton of Sniper Rifles lol
oh really ? how ?
http://www.borderlandsthegame.com/skilltree/brick/#31550505050500005050500 <-- how is this ?
I personally max all of the tank stuff except for Bash, and drop 1 in Iron Fist and 4 in Short Fuse due to my Class Mod.
Those are what I think the ideal meat hammer skills are.
I wouldn’t go Brawler plus Blaster if I was going Tank (Why wouldn’t you go Tank?), but that’s just me.
There is no tier list for Borderlands because everyone is equally broken. If they were tiered it’d be by how effective their support skill is in the beginning of the game, which IMO is Brick.
i’m still rather indecisive with brick’s build . i would want to go for blasting and brawling , but he will have weaker endurance and stamina .
any advice ?
Hayden : naah Hunter >> berserker i think , long range critical attack with swarm-locust attack ins too annoying enough . imagine these 2 dota characters combined into 1 , sniper and crypt lord .
hmm Roland would be mid-tier ,i’m liking the Soldier class now … because sentry with pray and spray skill is my kind of style .
Anyone try to do the Hunters Bloodwing glitch… broken as hell. My friend, lvl 42 tried it its awesome.

No.
Stu is correct.
At the End Game they are all equally broken.
Funny how I can run a number of mods through her this way almost. Plague Bearer, Mercenary, and Tormentor(The one I’m using).
Playthrough two is too fun.
I may redistribute points cause Dramatic Entrance and Intuition are kinda “meh” skills.
Roland is great and his weakest point is dueling IMO. He’s the best team player in the game. Also the turret can distract enemies who rush up to it and attack allowing the heat to be taken off you for a bit.
the build I use:
http://downloads.2kgames.com/borderlands/website/skilltree/roland/#01500000050550505505005
a slight split to allow you to solo and stay healthy but functions very well as a team player. You can swap out the points for cauterize to grit if you tend to play solo more.
Borderlands has drawn me in much more lately…naturally, it gets more fun as you level up and become more ridiculously powerful. I have Brick at level 19, and this character is so awesome to play with. The madman laughter in Berserk mode is classic. I actually had a dream about still playing the game last night. I already found one hell of a shield that has a capacity of 319! That blows away all other shields I’ve seen in the game at least so far…the highest I’ve seen before at this early stage of the game was only a 242, and I couldn’t afford that one at the time.
Just wait till you get to higher levels… the shields and especially the weapons get much better :bgrin:
Atm:
Siren lvl 34
Soldier lvl 32
Hunter lvl 15
Beserker lvl 19
I beg to differ.
Hunger > all at endgame. The Trespass skill is easily the most broken skill in the game when it comes to the last few zones.
100% chance to ignore shields on guardians? Those dudes are like 10,000shield, 200hp. With Trespass you wind up 1-shotting them. Its insanely simply to level people up to 50 by just running with Hunters in the last zone and clearing it in 5minutes and repeating.
Also, Hunters with the right build are nearly invincible in duels… The problem is starting from scratch they are pretty ‘meh’ in terms of killing ability… but at 50 and endgame they are monsters.
there’s no personal stash ? like in diablo2 ?? maan the only thing i like about FO3 is that you can keep your loot anywhere
Word, that is my biggest gripe with the game so far. This game is all about getting loot, but most of the game you arent able to keep most of your loot. Im on my second playthrough now and that doesnt seem to be a problem anymore but on my first playthough it was. I like to horde shit, but I was constantly selling shit I didnt want to sell so I could pick up something else.
Yes it sucks that there is no “bank.” I need to get my level 50 buddy to give me his expensive ass guns and make a level 1 bank mule so that I can always have a stream of cash for myself and friends. I’m a pack rat too! I love keeping all those guns that look cool but get replaced eventually. The only thing that sucks about the bank mule idea I think you only have what 12 slots max? Better than nothing I suppose…
I tried this game out over the weekend and could get into it all. Am I a bad person?
I learned very quickly to not get attached to guns. They come, they go. I’d much rather have the cash than than a weapon I never or rarely use, just so I can buy anything that looks like it would be good from a store. I mean, I’ve sold infinite ammo bladed revolvers because they didn’t have a scope and orange lower leveled stuff that wasn’t as good as higher leveled greens and blues. The only time I get hesitant is if I’m not sure which weapon would be more effective, like, I had an unscoped SMG that had x4 shots, good damage and a large magazine which made it really effective up close compared to a single shot SMG with lower (combined) damage but a higher rate of fire, greater accuracy and a scope.
In the end I favored the single shot because it looks cooler and I always have my shotgun.
I always used a rifle (burst fire), an SMG and a shotgun, my fourth slot varied, most of the time a sniper, occasionally a revolver/RPG/anything I was testing out.
