I am not disagreeing with you, but people often say how it is only good coaches that can bring star players together and make them play with one another. At least, that’s the excuse I hear when they talked about Rivers in Boston and Spoelstra in Miami.
Rockets are ass. They play zero defense. Zero. Their offense is chaotic and hardly effective. Too much talent on the roster to be playing like this. McHale is tinkering with line ups and rotations so much he’s just throwing shit at the wall in hopes that something sticks, but it’s apparent nobody knows what the hell is going on, on either end of the court.
The corpse of Jameer Nelson and some random guy killed us tonight, blowing by their guys at will and our best offensive player was Terrence Jonas off the bench.
At this point I don’t know if the Rockets will even make the playoffs with the way they’re playing. It’s not just missed shots. They’re not getting back on defense, they’re getting killed on the boards, outside of Ariza nobody can hold their guy, and Lawson looks completely lost at all times as to what he should be doing. He passes the ball very well and can penetrate when he wants to, but there’s so little movement on offense when he gets into the paint he has nowhere to go and gets discouraged from trying to penetrate so when the ball comes to him he just kicks it to the corner and stands there.
Might need to bandwagon a different team this season if we can’t turn it around soon. Geo has me wanting to buy some of that Heat stock, but I haven’t seen enough of them to go all in yet.
About 20 years ago, former Kings forward Lionel Simmons couldn’t play for a stretch of time due to his avid video game playing. Too much Sega Channel, I presume.
