I would hate to give the Bulls the one thing they need (a SF), but so be it. He’s opting out over the summer anyway, so both teams would essentially be trading expiring deals.
Gasol was gone the minute they fired Thibs, Thibs is the reason he signed with Chicago in the first place. They should trade him for value while they can because they will get nothing for him and they are not title contenders.
I think most bulls fans would take that deal. But our GM is stubborn, won’t happen. The owner should fire him after the season, but I doubt he will.

Can’t wait for this season to be over so I can stop hearing these stupid rumors that SAS is spewing and to watch us not get Simmons and people look for a scapegoat. I honestly don’t think it’s easy to “fix” the Lakers as people think it is. Having Walton/Thibbs/Blatt won’t make us better.
