Bonds going from an annual 35-40 home run dude to suddenly a 73 home run season in 2001 is pretty wacky too.
He had a previous high of 49 before 2001, and then in 2002 he went right back to 46.
That is crazy.

i was surprised bonds only had 1 season with 50+ homeruns being the leader and all. i guess if people didn’t walk him non stop he could of hit 900 easily

then williams with 0.551
dude was ~0.06 points higher on OBP in his best year
for comparison, pujols leads now in obp for active players and his best year was only 0.462
