Crazy stat I just heard from the radio broadcast. Jeter, Posada and Rivera have been on the same team now for 16 straight seasons. That’s the most of any trio of players in any major sport, ever. Period. They signed Rivera back in the day to a minor league contract for something ridiculous like $8,000, Yankee haters need to sit the fuck down with this “buying championships” crap. On a completely different note i am tired of hearing about how the twins do a good job with there decision making, and farm system. Thats cool and all but you play to win. They treat finishing about five hundred every year and getting swept out of the playoffs like it is a good season. Or atleast thats how the media portrays it. But maybe now with the new stadium they will spend some money.
