I stayed with my Thrashers till the end this year. I don’t think that I have ever gone to so many games in one season before. Hopefully next year will be a better one. The Bruins have been looking good this year. They were awesome when I saw them. It was crazy to see the Thrashers beat them, then get their ass handed to them by Carolina.
hahaha id love to do this but if anyone in boston finds out…theyd bring back lynching.
tough one…i want van to win cause they are canadian…but win 80 bucks if boston wins.
Yesssssss another Canadian team! Winnipeg officially back from the ashes!
lets just hope the team stays there
They have a much better economy and a wealthier owner.
And I can’t imagine the team would want to lose them again.
now Bettman should have no reason why my fucking city can’t have a team. If they had no problem moving one shit team to Canada to make money, should be no reason why we can’t get another soon to fail team to come to Steeltown
You can’t get one because of LEAFS NATION haha
They don’t want to lose any fans to another team in such close vicinity
actually, I hear its more of the fact that Buffalo doesn’t wanna lose canadians
Either way… Your relative location sucks.

First in line for tickets!
Thought for sure it would be the Coyotes going back. Bettman gonna keep hockey in the desert than a city where it snows. Bettman Logic at work. I wasn’t a Thrasher fan but it does feel like when the Sonics moved.
Wonder what team’s market my area gets put in now. Southermost county in GA it might be the FL teams. Which means I’ll get to see the Panthers play, and by extension Biggzy rage about them, more often.
Edit: Trolling the team’s ticket rep about season tickets in Atlanta.
I think they moved the Thrashers over the Yotes is because of stadium issues.
No one else would ever use Glendale, but the Hawks still use the stadium where the Thrashers were.
So makes some sense.
Hey Purple, If you start watching the Panthers, prepare to be disappointed…alot. When you haven’t made the playoffs in 10 years you start to get used to it though.
Sad news about Atlanta though. They really turned a corner this year too with Ladd, Big Buff, and some of their young guys Burmistrov and Kane turning it up.
That stadium being without a major tenant isn’t really the NHL’s problem. Didn’t stop relocation talk before. Their biggest problem is that lawsuit over how the city wants to finance things to keep the team there. They could have easily moved the Coyotes to Winnipeg if it had come to it like it has for Atlanta.
I’m a Mariners fan. They’ve taught me full well what disappointment and beyond is. I root for the Canes though, so they’ve also taught disappointment lately.
HFBoards has a topic about what it will be like if the Coyotes are scheduled to visit Winnepeg this season. Man I would like to see how the crowd reacts when their former team hits the ice.
Eh, get a new building first, and then talk.
our arena is fine. They just need to get a corporate sponsor (cough cough RIM), and add luxury boxes and some more seating. Sure, it’s gonna cost about 100-150 million, but that money would EASILY come back once we have a team.
Ok well then find a new owner.
Because Ballsilie is blackballed by the Board of Governors anyway.
Steeltown already has a team called the Penguins.
