Comments on ESPN’s articles about the move are mostly negative (surprise, surprise), with quite a few people saying that players will stay away from playing in Winnipeg. To which I counter with the fact that the Wild still have a decent team, and Minnesota’s climate is basically the same.
Climate/quality of city is never the case for attracting players.
If it was, then Florida/Phoenix would be powerhouses and nobody would want to play in Detroit.
