I saw that game odin, any game where the hawks lose (and pretty bad too, hold a one goal for basically 2 periods and then just fall apart) is a good game for me.

yeah i heard about that. What can we expect, they literally haven’t scored in MANY MANY games now. They get the odd one bounce in, after they’re down like 3 or 4 to nothing, in the end of the game when it’s already done. But the fans are PISSED now. We seriously have nobody who can fucking play any sort of offence at all, and we’re not hitting, and our expensive ass defence is fucking horrible. And the shitty thing is, unless we can trade defence for forwards (c’mon, do the right thing Kaberle), we’re fucked until at LEAST next year, when Nazim Kadri and maybe Josh Nicholls can come up.
You think Kadri is gonna save the team? With who? Toronto’s first round draft pick?

NHL GameCenter streaming coming to Roku, PS3 – Engadget
At long last, Gamecenter Live is now on PS3 and Roku.
Awesome news, since the PC hooked up to my tv isn’t all that powerful.
I watched some of the Islanders/Ducks game on the PS3 and it was pretty choppy to be honest. Choppier than on my old PC, but I think my internet connection was bad last night. I’ll try again during the Habs game tonight. I’ll also have to try it on my Roku to see if it’s any better on that, but I know that you have access to more features and classic games on the PS3.
I gotta say, if you are a fan of a team that is out of market for you, Gamecenter Live is pretty nice.
the problem with trading kaberle is other than schen and maybe komiserek he’s the only one that’s playing any good. They still aren’t that far out of the playoffs and there’s alot of time left. i don’t think you make a move for kaberle until you’ve decided to shut it down for the season. after the christmas break atleast.

No, we’d need to get Kaberle to negotiate with another team as well (nobody will give us fuck all for a player about to become a free agent at the end of the year). Also, we need the scoring now, not later in the year.

Sharks are struggling! The Pacific is very competitive right now. It appears who ever comes out battered and bruised from the Pacific will likely have had a tough year, making them ready for the playoffs.
yeah there’s always teams at the trade deadline looking to scoop up rent a players. when it comes time to trade him, they aren’t going to find it very hard to move him. especially if he keeps playing the way he is this year. Leafs don’t need scoring now…well they do…but people seem to forget this team still isn’t that great. And it’s not going to change with one guy.
yeah, but I don’t want Boston getting yet ANOTHER top 2 overall pick from us, and on top of that, I don’t care how long it takes us to improve, you damn well don’t fucking lose every game and never score. That’s not hockey, that’s just a slap in the fucking face.

true…i don’t know what happened to the team that started the season off. even if they had lost all those games atleast they were exciting to watch. They struggle to even get a shot on net now.
I don’t particularly hate the sharks but this kinda proves Niemi was a flash in the pan, and that Nabokov would have been a better option.
