MY DEAL IS THIS
- defense is completely lacking, the only upgrades we made in the off season is vandermeer + foster, both were brought in for size, but do not know how to use it. vandermeer is a healthy scratch today cause he blew so much fucking chunks against the sharks and foster at least got a goal, but both have to be more responsible in the back end and not just act like pylons
- PK PK PK PK PK PK because of our shitty D, we have like a 40% PK, which is just totally unheard of. only saving grace on PK is eberle getting a goal here and there
- forwards arent meshing well, and it shows when they can barely carry the puck into the opposing zone, and thats to be expected because of the rookies still getting used to the team, but there is really no excuse for the guys who have been here so many years already
i guess i can handle another 1st round pick, larsson would really help our defensive corps
and strudwick really needs to fucking retire…

the east is less wide open than the west, so it’s a lot harder for Dion to get them open ice hits. I’ve seen the man shoot, and he SERIOUSLY needs to just fuck the rest of the team and shoot more.

I’m more worried about the fact we get all these rough and tough people, and I still watch games where we avoid hits non stop, while getting hit ourselves. Seriously, dude is skating up the boards, you don’t just skate at him, pathetically attempt to poke check him, fail miserably, then skate away. You just fucking rub him out on the boards.
Besides, injuries tend to bring a team together more, in instances like this where it’s fresh faces playing together for the first time.

yeah he should worry less about big hits and worry more about learning to play defense since he’s a defenceman. I’ve seen him give up enough odd man rushes because he’s out of position because he tried to lay a guy out. He also apparently thinks he’s a forward and keeps skating the puck into the offensive zone and then he stays there? That’s ok for kaberle…but bro you have no hands, stay in your position. He’s a got a sick shot, but A he misses the net or B he shoots it into the forward standing in front of him. They need to get him off the powerplay cause he’s shit. I’ve honestly never seen so many shots get blocked…and that goes for the whole team not just dion. Anyway…the guy is playing worse than mccabe, so he better pick it up after he gets back.
but yeah i agree with you about finishing checks. They are supposed to be this hard team to play against…well you aren’t going to be if people aren’t going home with bumps and brusies after every game
