Hey guys, GCE is less than one week away! An anonymous individual has donated $100 to the prize pool, so train hard before next Saturday as there will be some extra money up for grabs!!!
Also, due to the donation I have changed the prize structure to 70/20/10 1st 2nd 3rd. If anyone thinks the matches should be 3/5 instead of 2/3 please let me know prior to Sat! thanks!
Looking forward to the event. As long as there is room for it all and nobody objects I plan on bringing my NeoGeo setup with an assortment of the fighters on there (KoF, SamSho, Real Bout, Garou, etc.) and also a Dreamcast with the Toodles disc for MvC2, Super Turbo, CvS2. I will provide converters and sticks for all of this so nobody will have to worry about any of that. I will also have copies of King of Fighters 13 and Battle Fantasia on the 360. Since I don’t play SFIV or Marvel I thought I could get a good variety with me for assorted casuals and to introduce people who may not have played the older games.
Any SF4 being played?
I am sure someone at the event will want to play some sf4 sometime. Make sure to come out and represent your personal favorite game even if it isn’t being played in a tournament tomorrow. This way there is less wondering from everyone in the area in the future 
Please make sure you bring discs for the different games you like to play, i’m headed out there early to setup if any of you guys want to stop by.
Hey what’s up guys this is Cowman (i didn’t actually enter I got in late, I was wearing the blue checkered shirt from publix since I just drove here as soon as I got home) I just hope I didn’t sound like a jerk when Isaid you should have a team on standby, but trust me, it makes the tournaments go a LOT faster. Hopefully next time they’ll be an AE or SxT tournament because I’d be down for that. Looked like fun, I liked the hype level (power outage with thor was some fun stuff)
No problem Cowman, I didn’t take offense and I didn’t think you sounded like a jerk because it made sense and we will definitely take that advice… we are going to take all of the comments and do as much as we can about it. We want to build this up as much as we can, and taking feedback from the community to make the event better is the best step we can take.
THANK YOU all who came out and supported the event, I didn’t expect that many people but it was awesome. I see that there is definitely interest in this, so we are going to continue on the path of making it bigger and better! I’m sorry about the heat issues, the owner (Zach) is making it his #1 priority to get that addressed. I gotta head out right now, but I’m going to post up the results soon and archive footage, etc. as soon as I can.
Again, thank you as all of this is not possible without the community and the people who support it.

Great tournament, next one we will have a lot more hype stuff going on. Grudge matches , i would enter thte tournament but i wotn be able to . (work)

even if AE isnt there for tournament there is side games being heald i know for sure ae was one of those being played to the side for casuals

If you are entering SFxT could you please reply to this thread so I can get an idea of how many people are entering?
Fully intending on entering both at GCE2. Any chance that SFxTK is a team tourney, or are we playing singles?
It is going to be a singles tournament and we will see what the turnout is for it…
Last time when I had my Neo setup I seemed to get the best response from Last Blade 2 and Samurai Shodown V Special. I would be more than happy to bring everything again and really want to get some games in with everyone, are there any certain Neo games that people would be interested in playing? Like last time I will have assorted sticks and pads with me for people to use. Or would people be more interested in me bringing a Dreamcast for games like Super Turbo, CVS2, and Marvel? My only problem with it is I only have one converter for Dreamcast use so someone would need to either use a Dreamcast pad or bring their own stick/converter.
