Again, I’m new to this game so theres a lot of stuff I dont understand. For right now I’m using Jill, Wesker, X-23. Someday I’ll earn the guts to switch X for pheonix.
You could always use a phoenix projectile assist. Might be risky because if she is ever caught she is pretty guaranteed dead. Or you could even use jill as your projectile call her out with arrow kick gunshot to cover her arrow kick and teleport across to get to your foe. Really ive never had a problem getting in with wesker due to his gun and teleports.

haha I love Deadpool. But outside of Mag and Dante weasel shot, I feel like I’m missing a way to touch the other side of the screen or cover my approach.
btw flighflighflugit I noticed team super business with Jill Dante/Dpool. Have you messed with it in a real game?
I was thinking of Jill (?) /Wesker (OTG gun)/xx and I can’t decide between Doom for Beam, Sent for drones, or Taskmaster for H. arrows and just being an all around great anchor. I’m also torn on Jill’s assist. I was considering Flip Kick to add a ground bounce to Wesker’s (and any of those assists’) arsenal, or Somersault kick for an invulnerable crossover counter… but I’m unsure I’d use crossover counters enough to really take advantage of that. Arrow kick seems less useful with wesker on the team because he provides his own wall bounces, but I know it’s an all around good assist for her.
Any thoughts or input to help me out? I just want to finalize my team so I can really hit the lab and work on combos. One of my major problems is major character ADD Thanks in advance
I would definitely go with Doom beam. I think beams are by far the best assists for Jill, and Doom’s beam in general is one of the best assists in the game. Jills teleports + Doom beam is very good, and the beam assist appears behind Jill so it’s a bit safer, Jill can’t cover her assists very well so it helps a lot. Doom is a worse anchor than Sent, but I still think he’s a very good anchor and a better anchor than Task.
For assist, I think her Somersault is the best, but it doesn’t really matter which one you pick. Alpha counter w/Somersault lets characters punish a lot of stuff that is normally nonpunishable (among other things), and even if you don’t use alpha counters that much it’ll let you get used to them more because Jill’s is definitely one of the best.
I honestly never used alpha counters until jill. Now it is one of the things I include when thinking up teams.
Has anyone been able to use jills combos online?
I’ve recently been trying out Doom with rocks, and its been working pretty well for me. I’m liking Jill(Somersault), Tron(Gustaff Fire), Doom(Molecular Shield).
Rocks are really useful for keeping the opponent pinned in block stun so you can mix them up with jill. Jill/tron both have pretty good crossover counters as well.
I can do some but obviously it depends on the lag. the laggier it is, the more simpler combos become. Basically if you can’t get
xxxx FC, H, jump HS, MH qcf M (FC) H xx super
Then you really shouldn’t be playing the guy.

any one here ever try jill/trish with peekaboo assist… ive been experimenting with jill, trish(peekaboo), shuma(ray), and the mixup potential almost seems too good.
I messed with it but the only thing I ever came up with was peekaboo + feral dash behind as a character comes in. Wolvie has the same thing
this is my first post on this forum but would a jill wesker and magneto (disruptor assist) team work?
i kinda wanted to make a full rush team so i was thinking to add magneto in for some cover for jill and rush when needed with him afterwards.
That’s actually a pretty good team. You can dhc glitch into Wesker for big damage. Usually Mag is first cuz he’s so good at building meter and opening the game in general, but imo he’s fine in any position. It really just depends on how well you can play behind mag assist. Get that first hit and you’re in good shape.
Chun Li works REALLY good with Jill. Actually gives her a reset and lets her combo into Raven Spike.
I will be interested in seeing how jill teams evolve without the dhc glitch. Tron might not be such an amazing pick for her.
The only change I see is a larger variety of characters she will DHC into, since the glitch will be gone. I might still end up using Dante though.
I’ve been rolling Wolvie(B)/Jill(B)/Magneto(A) lately. Actually going pretty well. Wolvie’s an excellent battery, Magneto’s disruptor assist is always awesome, and Jill’s getting better on-point the more I play with her.
I tried using Jill as the battery at first, but that didn’t pan out so well. I find that having a load of meter ready is great for allowing her to MGS out of most opposing hypers.
Jill/Doom/Deadpool is my main team.
It works perfectly in so many ways, is a balanced team of rushdown and zoning and is an anti Phoenix team.
This team is golden for me.
