Just started experimenting with a new Jill team after putting her down for a while. Jill (any assist really)/ Dante (otg)/ Dormammu (Dark Hole). Its strange adjusting my BnBs timing to Dante’s sluggish OTG speed but Darkhole is a fun space filler. I’m making a habit of hiding inside of it and feral dashing behind or above my opponent for mix-ups during block strings. Dante also gets some neat relaunch tricks if you time the Dark hole correctly in some of his BnBs for more damage. Plus I hear Dorm is a great anchor
I could actually use some new competition to test the team out on. If you’ve got PSN and good connection i’m down for a couple matches.
^I had been thinking about that team for a while, too. They kinda get rushed down hard, though. Still, meter building>mad beast is tight, and all 3 can use xf pretty decently.
So I did some more testing with jill, and wow tron seems like an amazing partner for her. DHC from raven spike into king servbot for the DHC trick, then follow up with a tron combo and after knockdown from the air combo OTG with tron, call out jill with flip kick for a ground bounce and you can use potentially 5 hypers in one combo(only 2 with tron after the DHC are needed to kill everyone though). You also can’t use flip kick in jill’s part of the combo as you only get 1 ground bounce per combo.
Tron assist helps protect jills rush down or protects her from opposing rush down.
I’m trying Jill(Somersault), Tron(Gustaff Fire), Doctor Doom(Plasma Beam)
I use arrow kick with that same set up. Tron OTGs into arrow kick which throws them high enough in the air for tron to hit with her gun. Which allows for additional servbot surprise and eventually lunchtime. However it is drastic overkill on the entire cast. You can put out 1.1m pretty easily long before you get to the lunchtime.
Now that is interesting. I have been doing the jill into tron dhc since day 1 of jill being out. Figured it out and made it my bread and butter but I never thought to use dhc into hard tag back to tron. Very good stuff I will have to go work on that.
This is my main team (but not my strategy though). I usually start off Wesker/Jill/Chris and AE into Jill for the Raven Spike but I’ve recently started playing Chris/Jill/Wesker and found a really nice DHC for that order. Chris’s Sweep Combo (dhc on Magnum) > Raven Spike > Rhino Charge this combo deals about 1.1 million damage which is nice.
Jill (arrow kick) / Tron (<fire) / Ammy (cold star)
its hoestly had for me to think of a better team for jill than t hat, but its obviously preference… but what can i say, she dhc tricks into both… shes like impossible to block with this assists once shes in, and ammys assist is great for getting her in… AND also works once shes in for locking down and allowing mixups. And yeah… whenever im getting blocked i call trone, cancel into FC and go either to the other side or up same side or up other side or i cancel to FC then cancel out, then overhead.
This team is a one hit kill team with which its stupid easy to get that one hit
I run jill(Arrow kick), dante(jam session), iron man(unibeam) and I personally believe dante is one of the best team members for jill for these reason
-DHC glitch
-jill can safely dhc out with gun super into devil trigger on block, or if the gun super is going to hit you can dhc into dantes gun super
-if jill has 2 meters you can double hyper combo any time you get an untechable knockdown,(ie. off of any normal throw, her command M. throw, even arrow kick is untechable so you can double hyper combo off that anywhere on screen ) and you get oki
-also jill can punish almost any projectile in the game on reaction with the double hyper combo
edit: forgot to mention even if the double hyper combo is blocked in the air or ground, jills gun super still forces the opponent to stay in block stun til they are forced into dantes super so its safe and you get a free mix-up

The team I’ve been working on is Jill, wesker, Spencer. I would like to trade in phoenix for Spencer but I honestly don’t think Jill and wesker can build meter fast enough for phoenix.
I really like Jill. She is the reason why I’m working hard in marvel. But I would love to have phoenix on my team.
Anyone have a suggestion for a mid person for a Jill xx phoenix team?
I dunno man, Jill can build 1-1.5 meters off a hit and I dunno about Wesker I don’t play him.Not being able to super with Jill is kind of a big deal though so I don’t really see her and Phoenix on the same team working.
I was thinking of a team like Jill/Zero/Akuma. How do you guys think that would work out? I’d like some input before I buy Jill (although I probably would’ve bought her already… if the psn store was up)
wesker is like one of the best batteries in the game. his combo’s ( solo ) build up to 1.5 hyper while dealing over 500k. and if the other dude was right about jill building 1.2 hyper off an hit, then this your team would be decent as an battery team for phoenix. the only problems i see though is how you are going top deal with zoning since jill and wesker need some sort of beam/projectile assist to get things going.
