from everything ive done i haven’t peaked over 730 damage with jill
i prefer to have a really good mix up from 2 500k combos and kill then try and squeeze out all of my meter
when i could just not use any at all
ALL mixups are escapable, even High/low “unblockables”.
You’re much better off squeezing as much damage as you can from one combo. My Jill/Strange/Ammy team does about 980K with two bars, a bit higher than my Jill/IM team/
I managed to squeeze in 800k damage (with 1 meter), but at least that builds a bar and a half, so I can pretty much always use it to kill zero with a DHC :\

There is a wayto do it without stopping a combo. Sorry to sound like an asshole, but its all practice. M,H, 22S (down down S), H. Just practice feral wave dashing. (Feral dash, cancel into another one) and just get the motion down. Make it second nature. Going to take some major training, but its worth it, and once you do, shes the most fun character to play in the game

My Strider wins because I have him XFactor. It’s pretty good. I’m comfortable with both strider or raccoon on anchor. Maybe I will use Ironman for certain matchups.<br><br>But with Jill / unibeam / spitfire, Spitfire is used to either get in, or to mixup. ALL of my mixups require raccoon because of how slow the two blasts are. Think of why people use Bolts of Balthak for Strange. You get a pretty long hit stun / block stun because they don’t want to move. I don’t think Ironman benefits from Log Trap as much as he does from Spitfire anyway, but it’s my own playstyle. im a pretty solid jill player and my current team is jill/dante/hawkeye. I really like that team but I feel like jill/frank west/dante would a ballin team also. And with dante at anchor i can score a level 4 with frank if i have 2 meters. what do guys think and i think im going to run jam session with dante for some anti air protection.

Personally, I hate jam session because of how hard it is to hitconfirm off of with jill. I’d reccommend jill/dante/strider with weasel shot, because of how awesome the assist is for resets and pressure. Hope this helps! I run that team by the way, message me if you want to play any sets

Hello. Sorry if this is bad but i am new to this and I am trying to pick up Jill since she is one of my favorite characters. I am trying to build a team with here that consists of her with Jill-Y/Doom-A* or B/? I have a question about the anchor position. I am getting torn between either ammy or strider right now. I was wondering if i should choose either of these two or could be a better anchor that i may like.

I really hate Doom, so I won’t try to pretend I know what I’m talking about. I do know that Jill can be brutal with Dog’s Cold Star assist, and that Dog is a bully of an anchor, so if I had to pick, I’d give Doom Missiles for the anti-air option and combo extension, and put Dog with lockdown on anchor.<br>

Molecular Shield is kind of cool since it’s a durable long-range projectile that can kind of lock down at close range, but I would personally hate it because of the heavy scaling and finicky pick-up considering it hits. Doom’s fat ass is also still hanging around forever doing that move. It’s also way too slow to keep up with Jill’s movement.<br><br>If you hate Doom and don’t feel confident in being able to cover his longer assists, then maybe you should try someone else to fill whatever niche you wanted him for.<br>

I originally wanted doom for plasma beam just so i could kind of keep Jill hidden through the beam. but now that i think about it. kind of just wanted a beam assist in there.

You need an anti-air assist, I would highly suggest strider or Iron Man<div><br></div>
