They don’t need otgs that much but Doom and Task would be good. And Magneto.
you could also just put felicia in the middle, a lot of the characters with good projectile assists are also good anchors (doom, magneto, hawkeye etc)
I wanted the OTG assist in the back for the raw tag tech. I figure as long as I am utilizing a OTG, I might as well get max mileage off it.
I guess my criteria for a 2nd slot character just got tighter…as I’d want someone you could raw tag into who can continue a combo.
I know for a fact if you end your combo in a double knee drop you can tag in Dr. Doom, pick up the combo with Doom’s H and go into foot dive loops-> Proton Array and end by DHCing into Raven Spike.

What is Jill’s best assist?
Jam session is great for lockdown and helps Jill deal with airborne opponents. Weasel shot is great for lockdown too, has more range and it doesn’t scale damage nearly as much but sacrifices AA so Jam session is more useful imo.
Jill’s assist are not that useful so I just use somersault for its utility as a CC but Arrow Kick might have some uses I don’t know about.
I switch Dante’s assist based on matchup.
Currently running Jill / Arthur / (Nova/Hawkeye/Storm/Dorm)
Arthur works great as a lockdown / mixup assist because regular daggers are good to begin with, but I can combo into Raven Spike, DHC to Gold Armor Arthur on the last hit of raven spike, raw tag back to Jill, and get free gold daggers…which are the strongest assist projectile in the game…plus it gives me free gold armor arthur at no risk at all…and if I want to go for damage, I can just do machine gun hyper dhc goddess bracelet…and if I really need to, I can save arthur for my anchor with xfac lvl 3 + gold armor.
Im still soul searching for a third character to use with this team, and I like different characters for different reasons…im sure yall can assume why I like each of those characters…with Jill / Arthur.
i think that jam session is the best one but if you dont have another assist on your team to help you get in them it might be better to go with weasel shot. Having a good AA helps against characters like trish, also if you do a long combo on the ground and there’s too much HSD to be able to do a full air combo you can just do launcher + jam session and you’ll be able to get a full air combo, only problem is that you wont have time to follow up with a THC because you just called the assist.
And ya go with somersault for jill, dont think her other assists have any use for dante.
I’ve been having a lot of fun with my new team:
Jill (Arrow Kick), Iron Man (Unibeam), Felicia (Sand Splash)
I think the thing I like most about it is I can play any character on point and they’ll still benefit from the other two assists (something I’ve been having trouble with on my main team), but IMO that’s the best order. Another great thing is they can all DHC farily well between one another, and Jill can do some rather silly shenanigans with Iron Man THC. I wonder if you can combo afterwards if it hits; at the very least you should be able to do wallbounce, ground bounce. I’m going to have to try that out
As far as raw tag stuff goes, I’ve been doing blablabla OTG assist, Arrow Kick, Knee Drop, tag in Iron Man, Smart Bombs H, Proton Cannon. DHC’ing back into Raven Spike does somewhere around 950k, I think a little less. Is there anything more I can do besides just Smart Bomb>Proton Cannon? I can’t call Felicia again, and I was under the impression you could call the tagged out partner again for the assist, but I guess the game doesn’t like me or something. Maybe it’s because I use Assist 1 (previously Iron Man’s slot) in the combo already?
I found what I think is a guaranteed unblockable with Felicia, but I’ll need to actually test it. End a combo with Jill’s Raven Spike into Kitty Help for the psuedo-DHC glitch. I should have plenty of time to waltz on over to the opponent, call Unibeam, then do an unblockable. I think Unibeam will hold them in place no matter where they tech. Problems with it are it’s a tad expensive at 2 bars (3 if I have to go through Proton Cannon as well, but hopefully they’d be dead by then anyway,) and that damned loli kitty always fucks my combos up. I still think it’s a pretty neat setup though.
I think the biggest issue I’m finding with this team is Iron Man. The other two’s assists can extend his combos, but I feel like Tony has more pressing problems in this game. I can kind of use Arrow Kick as a ghetto pressure assist but Jill’s so damn unsafe it isn’t really worth it, and Sand Splash… I actually don’t know what that assist does besides OTG. I’m willing to put in the work with him though, just for Unibeam (and I happen to like the character, which always helps.)
What do you guys think is better? 1# Jill/Mag/Sent or 2# Jill/Doom/Sent. I like the overall damage I get from team 2 and the ease of dr.doom combos. I feel mags is a little better character wise as far as that’s concerned. I am also considering Jill/Wesker/Doom but well see.
I think I agree with team #2, Easy combo-flow from Doom, Sent can pose a good danger from the air since jill can’t do that very well. and Jill can get the ground.

Storm is always pretty sweet for DHC purposes…she covers everyones ass and she allows jill to blow up opponents assist calls via machine gun hyper (for invincibility + hitting everything on the screen basically) DHC Hail…and if you get a happy bday, you can always just xfac storm > whatever the hell you want since hail stays on the screen forever.
other than that…whirlwind assist blows up every other projectile / get in assist in the game and gives jill some nice mixup options regarding whirlwind + feral crouch dash. since whirlwind pushes them so far back it basically turns into “guess which side jill is going to dash to then punch you in the face”…and it can be hard to react to if you do it right. I dig Jill / Storm a lot…but then again I love both characters seperately anyways
I wanna try Jill/Ghost Rider/Storm but that might kinda effy, depending on what assist I use for Ghost Rider, not to mention that I really can’t use storm that well.
But I really want to pick up storm but I’m currently trying to get un-rusty with Trish
Jill really almost requires help from an assist to get in safely and an assist that helps keep them in blockstun for mixups…Sentinel covers both. Only problem is that sent stay vulnerable for so damn long and Jill cant really cover him at all.
In vanilla, Jill + Sent = BFF because of everything listed + DHC glitch…they still are…but not as good BFFs.
This is basically the reason I gave up sent for Arthur. He does what sent does but recovers quicker and is a better anchor for the most part. In xfac + gold armor people are basically forced to pop Xfac prematurely…Sent doesnt offer much that Arthur cant do himself…and Arthur is a much smaller target so he falls out of combos a lot and its much more difficult to insta-overhead him. Im very happy with my main team as it is <3.
My secondary team though, Im still soul searching for other chars that I might like better
i feel like dante is one of the best partners for jill, jam session is a great AA and can be used as a lockdown. Dante also has great DHCs with jill, million dollars is good for following up MGS and is one of the best THCs in the game. Devil trigger can be used to DHC out safely and if you’re close enough MGS xx Devil trigger gets you a combo on standing opponents (but there’s a lot of scaling).
Right now im running Jill/Dante/Magneto, dont have any good assists for extending combos but the 2 assists cover jill’s weaknesses fairly well, disruptor is just awesome it doesnt have a lot of pushback so its not that hard to follow up, its fast with good durability and it doesnt add as much damage scaling as the other beams. If i ever rly need to do damage i go for a THC which gets me 800-870K with 2 meters, my only problem is that i cant get a full combo from throws i can only THC.
The only thing I hate about Jam session is that it scales shit really bad if you start a combo with it…and its attached to Dante…who im not too fond of lol
I use Jill Dante but with Weasel Shot assist. It’s nice for crossups.
Thanks for the feed back, I wanted to try out a Jill/Storm Team, maybe I’ll add doom to the mix. Well I’ll still be tinkering around with that as a second team, maybe Jill/Storm/Wesker or Jill/Storm/Sent. Actually that sounds pretty good, I might try that first. I like Jill/Doom/Sent cause Jill can get 800k with one combo and one bar and doom missiles IMO is better than jam session as far as all around for sent cause they actually help jill and sent control the air and interrupt a lot.
