I think both falling prey which I believe is the name of otg legs and her command grab with H are pretty bad…I think the range of command grab H is pretty short unless you can kara cancel it…Wouldn’t it be better if you use a lockdown assist and go for some teleport mixups than to go for command grab H??? I want to hear people opinion on that since I might be misinformed on that move

Jill’s command grab range is actually quite good, it’s the speed that sucks. 10 frames is really slow for anything in this game, much less a command grab. To solve this you just time your cancels off normals.

You can deal Huge damage WITHOUT an OTG assist. In no way is it necessary. Hell, without a raw tag, you can still deal a solid 700k+ depending on your assists. Once you put Raw tagging in, Jill’s (or rather, everyone’s damage) skyrockets. Back in vanilla, I was a BIG fan of double Hypering with MGS and chun-Li’s legs, but The meter cost was not worth it, and I could’ve dealt so much more damage without it.

About her combmand grab, it’s not the best, but it works real wonders because of the range, and how often opponents are in blockstun due to Jill’s friggen antics. I However, I usually find, that a mix-up during blockstun is much easier and rewards you more then her command grabs. You can also combo into them and off of her M if you need too.

For the record the reason I’m so hot on the OTG assist is for air throws, and also those air to air confirms. Just having an OTG option really improves Jill’s ability to confirm from a wider variety of situations. It’s not a damage output thing for me.

Jill/Frank/Strider has so much synergy for each member it’s stupid.
Jill’s combo I already mentioned, but frank can deal about 700k in level 1—> level 3 with valentine running arrow kick.

Jill/Frank is quite good.

Jill/Strider I don’t feel so much. Strider does work alright as an AA, but Jill can’t really capitalize on it properly, and Strider DHC’s are craptastic. I’ve been using Jam Session for AA/Lockdown, Jill can usually convert with either jump kicks or, depending on height, jC>Knee Drop.

What do you guys think of Jill/Sent/Dante, Im doing pretty good so far, but I need to learn Dante better for sure, my basic BnB with Jill for this team is 747,800k. This includes 2 assists and one super. I can get FlyingVe’s setup in the corner except I use sent drones with no otg to get the same effect. I’ve noticed that dante’s jam session helps out a lot with screen control, and has made sents rush down more effective. I use arrow kick assist as I’m rushing down with sent. The beauty about it is if arrow kick assist hits at all they’re dead. It tends to hit a lot too while there trying to setup for something. I like having sent second cause once I get them with 750,000k with Jill I DHC into Sent for 950,000k+. Sometimes I’ll do pulsr’s set up from his “TOD sorta” video, then raw tag sent in to finish the job. As far as I can tell they all help each other out and with decent assists.

Really solid team there. Team TOD right there meng. If you switch Sent–> Dante’s positions. My dante’s balls and I hate sent (LOL INSTANT OVERHEADS) but that’s just me

I also think that Jill/Doom/Sent is a great team too, 694,800 damage with 2 assists and NO super. With super almost 800,000k (791,800k)

Today I started running Jill/Nova/Wesker, had iffy results but I like the team honestly and see some potential. Any feedback?

Jill and Wesker are a really good pair. Well really it’s just Jill and Wesker’s gunshot: OTG after a throw, Arrow Kick>Knee drop combo ender, unblockables. I don’t really know Nova, but you can probably do some neat combo stuff with his overhead assist, since it can reset the ground bounce. Maybe the gravimertric pulse or whatever could work as a ghetto lockdown assist, IDK how good it is though. DHC-wise, you could probably use the startup invincibility on MGS to DHC to Highspeed Tackle and get through projectile spam, although it’s a bit expensive for 2 bars. I was actually thinking about trying Nova, not necessarily with Jill, but I might give it a shot.

No idea; I prefer the other Sparda twin, but Dante can fit on any team anyway. I think the problem with Vergil and Jill is that none of his assists really help her out, nor any of hers him. I don’t know if that makes sense lol. Maybe somebody who actually knows how to use Vergil can help you more.

Agreed. I played around with Vergil for a minute and I had the damnedst time getting his stuff to work for me. I replaced him for Dr. Doom.

dunno if vergil’s assists are useful for jill but you should at least be able to set up some powerful DHCs using raven spike xx Spiral swords and go into one of vergil’s combos, something similar to this [media=youtube]kWvlhcYBILk[/media]

ofcourse you can adjust it depending on whether or not you used jill’s ground or wall bounce. Dante’s undoubtedly a better character for jill but a jill/vergil/?? team could still work if the 3rd character had a good projectile assist.

Im trying to drop sent for doom at the moment, but I really like Jill/Mags. What do you guys think of Jill/Mag/Doom?

Doom just seems more reliable on point if he has to come out, I could always change the order as well Jill/Doom/Mag.
I was also considering Jill/Doom/Sent or changing the order to Jill/Sent/Doom, im not sure though.
I was using Jill/Mag/Sent before, I would change the order to Jill/Sent/Mags sometimes cause I liked having him last.
Sent doesnt seem to be too reliable on point, and very predictable. I don’t exactly want him on point but if hes your only character
left, your kind of screwed especially if they have wesker.

Looking for some help with a Jill team.

After reading through all the stuff I’ve decided I would like to run her with an OTG assist for the reasons Ve has mentioned. I strongly dislike Wesker, so I’m leaning towards Felicia here (seemed to be the second best alternative).

My issue is that I’m having a hard time filling the gap in middle. I’d like to find a character with a beam or horizontal assist to help with Jill’s mixups and approach. However, I would really like it if this character also could make use of Felicia’s OTG assist so that it’s not a case where Jill dies and I basically have 2 stand alone characters who don’t really synchronize very well with each other.

If anyone could suggest some good middle slot characters who fit this criteria, that would be very much appreciated.
