I don’t understand why to players can’t take 5 minute out of their day to check the character forums, pretty much every forum has at least one guy that’s an absolute scientist with their character. If more top players actually start to know stuff about this game and we get to see more matches like RayRay vs Moons exhibition, then that’s good for the game and everyone that plays it.
Does anybody know how to do the Cent rush guard cabcel on block consistantly? I play Nova Doom and Skrull. I use Beam and tenderizer if anything.
I don’t find it to be too consistent. I prefer to just cancel into the other cent rushes while calling an assist. That being said, it’s a huge gamble with the assists your team uses. Unless you have drones or maybe Cold Star, I wouldn’t recommend doing it.
Sorry, but what is this Centurion Rush guard cancel thing? I’ve never heard of this.
my video on HIT that I discovered

On BLOCK that Infrit posted

How exactly are you doing that? Are you doing something special because u cant do it if my life depended on it lol
So here’s a random question: when you do the Nova/Spencer crumple combo, is there a specific purpose to TKing the crumple? It doesn’t seem like you HAVE to do it, so is there some other benefit? I’m trying to get into the habit of doing the real version with the 5S instead of the lazy-man one without it, so I’m just wondering if I’m missing something.
more damage and you dont have to worry about doing the Nova strike too soon and getting a wallbounce.
We should really have a single thread dedicated to the Nova/Spencer crumple combo lol.
out of curiosity in that video with the m centurion rush into super nova, inst that really just a waste of a special for amybe a tiny bit more damage?
The Super Nova cancel glitch? Yeah, it’s not useful at all at this point, but Infrit found it, so he made a video to show it off.
oh alright i didnt think so, im a new Nova user so just trying to scoop his scene, thanks a lot.

can anyone help me with the timing for this bnb combo? I can’t get the cr. H to connect with Nova’s S. I do Nova’s f H. then call Vergil Assist, after that I drop it.
edit: around the 30:24 mark
WOW…Haven’t seen that one before. But from a bit of experience with Nova’s combos, it seems like he’s doing f.H delayed assist call and using the first few hit or so of rapid slash to get the link.
Is it bad that I came here for this exact question? That and learning the J.:l: overhead. You can do it :d: :u: :d: :l: right? but is plinking it the preferred method? I can’t willingly plink for the life of me…any info on this or should I just keep practicing the plinking method (:u::d: kind of piano :l::h:)
Hahaha, those two questions are by far the most common we get. The plink method is the most reliable, versatile and commonly used method, the DUD one is retardedly fast and 100% unblockable on reaction IMO if done with the absolute fastest timing, up to you really.
Also bear in mind, you can do it by pianoing all three, but you want to do HML not LMH, i’m sure that’s what you meant, but just in case.
It’s not bad, it just gets asked like every other day. The instant overhead less so, but I think it should have its own thread as well. EDIT: IT DOES.
That said, I prefer the plinking method, it’s more consistent for me. Do not piano LMH, just do your airdash buttons of choice (MH for me) but delay one of them. Idk if you play Street Fighter, I only do casually, but if you practice plinking in that you can plink in Marvel easily.
what are your thoughts on fly cancelling moves for safety?
If I learned one thing from playing Nemo, it’s that you almost always want to fly cancel a normal if the previous one was push blocked. For instance, if you go for the c.M s/c.H string and they push block c.M, the H’s will whiff so fly cancel to make them more or less safe. If they don’t push block, don’t worry cause they’re safe on block.
fair enough, I’ll do this
