For everyone who asked I’m doing pretty awesome. It’s a bit weird to have freedom again after two months of isolation in basic training, but I’m loving it. Here’s some random stuff:

so EZ is tomorrow. i will be there. unfortunately i wont be able to offer rides because i will be in the fayetteville area tonight visiting a friend. so i MIGHT even be able to make an appearance at EZ tonight really late if games are gonna be happening.

Civil War 4. Early bird preregistration ends TOMMORROW. Save yourself some money! Venue fee jumps from 20$ to 30$ on April 1st at 12:01am. Also, hotel is sold out outside of the reserved room block. I’m working on getting a 2nd hotel to reserve rooms, but you guys should start making housing/hosting plans.

Friday eve: Team tourneys and side events
Saturday: Singles Start pretty early. At door registration will close before noon.
Sunday: Top X’s in most games. X being # that didn’t get finished on Saturday.
There will also be arcade cabs and a salty suite avail 24/7
Won’t be able to make it to EZ this time but I’ll be training for the next one!
So glad to get back into fighting games now that the semester is almost done.
I am enjoying playing with Viola & Raphael in SCV and using King, Vice, and K’ and Joe, Ben, and Athena in KOF!
Been awhile for me to be here, but it’s cool to hear about people playing KOF!

I like SFxT, it’s like SF4 minus some option selects and less requiring of difficult links, plus most of the annoying characters didn’t make it into the game. Some people like 4 better but SFxT is a lot more fun. SCV is decent but it’s not too big atm. I like it, except for the guard breaks, I think those are retarded.
Doesn’t seem like anyone has really stepped it up TBH. Tom got good at SFxT. KOF players leveling up a good bit too but nothing crazy.
Me, Darrell, and Roski all made it to day 2 for KoF. My marvel bracket was kusoru and f.champp so I didn’t make it out of pools, but one of the tierless heroes guys did. I ended up changing my team after being turtled on so much that weekend. Tactics got to day 2 in AE.
If someone can scoop me up for EZ I’d like to go. Jon’s car is full afaik.

Anyways, will know my work schedule sometime near next week. Other than Greensboro and Fayetteville, how is the local Charlotte scene doing? Moved to South Tryon and Steelcreek area. Not familiar with the surroundings just yet, but i can figure it out.

This alone makes me want to go now. Still debating on entering anything, so my question is can we still register online after April 1st via the extra 10 bucks or will it be ONLY by noon Saturday (April 28)?
I think I’m gonna go. May just end up watching the tournament and playing casuals the entire time though, but I’m still considering going none the less.

RanBats start this Wednesday in Charlotte, Thursday in Greensboro, and Friday in Fayetteville. Charlotte’s is the one you will be attending mainly so check out the docs for all the info. It’s at a bar so there will be food and drinks
Was glad I got to play a couple of games again you guys last night, even if it wasn’t nearly as many games as I wanted. Need to play with people who have skills like y’alls more - playing with scrubs who don’t even know how to punish rolls has made me reliant on tactics that don’t work on anyone with half a brain.
Anything happening this Saturday? I gotta work Wednesday-Friday, so I won’t be able to make it out to any of those ranbats, but if I can’t find something to do on Saturday I’ll see if I can trade.
