Is it just outright dual system for those games? Or is there a default? Like if one person wants 360 and the other wants PS3, does it default to a system or is it a coin flip?

Sorry Sunday bombed out. It kind of pissed me off that everyone who messaged me was like “I’m not coming but we’re playing at X location so come here instead.” Give me about a week or two and I’ll start rolling back out there. Sorry I missed you DP. It’s still love. Those last two sentences could be horribly misconstrued. Also, you can bet your ass I’ll be at Raleigh MLG.

Angus and I played another 60 matches last night as we continue to improve at a rapid pace. =) The CJ matches did not go to waste. You’ll see us with some new characters soon.

What’s really awesome is that it seems like a lot of people have stopped dumpster diving and opted instead to get their food from a real restaurant…MMMMMMmetaaphoooorrrrrrrrrr…

Those are the default systems however when you rely on people to bring systems then we have to work with what we have. We will fall back to the default in the case there is a problem. However now a days with everyone having a dual mod stick it’s usually not a problem.

Will: Missed your post man, glad to see you doing well. How is military life?

Not much has changed much since you left. The scene continues to grow. I finally took out Raccoon and Noel Brown in Marvel so I guess that’s a Milestone. WNB is also coming along really nice.

Roski: don’t worry man, we all still know what the real fighter is. Me personally I just took a few weeks off to put on my diaper and learn SFxT, but now I’m back hard on KoF.

In other news…

Won all 3 WNB tournaments tonight and we had an AWESOME KoF turn out. Thanks for the support guys and GGs. Javier almost gave me a heart attack in Grand finals, dude was on point. Hypest moment was him EX countering my EX fireball with Takuma for the kill in the first set. Who saw that coming!!!

Ex Iori Duo and Kensou actually was an ok team surprisingly. I got a reverse OCV with Kensou so it atleast helped my theory that you don’t have to prescribe to standard team construction.

WNB was a blast today. KoF turnout was great and the tournament was hype as hell.

Definitely going to be putting some serious work into the game this week. I feel like I am getting better by the day at this game and it shows in my matches.

Mad props to the TH crew for getting all the setups and bigger area. Was definitely much more awesome bc of the added setups and space.

GGs everyone had a amazing time! KOF was so good its fucking crazy! Just put up the vids and some how please get streaming for the event! Shoutouts to everyone that made it out, especially those that made KOF13 such a freaking success! I tried but it wasn’t enough. Good shit Jon. Now excuse as I go commit hara-kiri! Shoutout to TH crew for doing your thing. My only concern is you broke the rule of when you run the tournament you have to play in every game LMAO! Play that KOF13, you see and you love it!!! I had to clean up all the drool you guys left on the floor! KOF ahhhhhhhhh!!!

Wednesday Night Brawls Episode 12 was too epic!
Great turnout in all games we ran last night…KOFXIII definitely surprised everyone and due the hype a lot of players want to pick it up…great job you guys for showing up.

The TH team wants to know, how do you guys like the new tourney setup? We gave it a shot at running things one way last night and we ran into some issues but we were able to figure them out on the fly. Sorry for those little mistakes that prevented the tourneys from running faster. We will change what needs to be done so we can run the tourneys a lot smoother.

Thanks to everyone that showed up to compete as well as everyone that showed up and helped out, thanks to you all we have grown as big as we are and we will keep getting bigger. You guys are too awesome for showing support and keeping the Raleigh Fighting Game Scene growing.

We will be posting the next WNB flyer but we would like to know or get an idea of what games you guys would want to have or if we need to alternate between games since we know that the KOF crowd may or may not make it weekly. The initial idea was to run the games alternatively as following:

One Week:

  1. KOFXIII
  2. Street Fighter X Tekken
  3. Ultimate Marvel VS Capcom 3

Following Week:

  1. KOFXIII
  2. Super Street Fighter IV AE:2012
  3. Ultimate Marvel VS Capcom 3

We would only be alternating SXT and AE but if the KOF crowd cant make it weekly then we can alternate it with another game so that we run KOF one week and SCV(for example) the following week. So as you can see we will run Marvel every week and we would like to also run KOF weekly unless the KOF crowd says otherwise. Let us hear your thoughts.

But moving on to the results from last night, congratulations to the winners and good job to all the runner ups, the matches were so hype! Shout-outs to Mike Bolio (Alice-Chan) who took some video of some the high level play matches from different games so he will be posting those on the TH YouTube Channel for your enjoyment, thanks a lot bro!!!

I honestly don’t know why I lost yesterday… This is a bad thing. I am in the process of re constructing my team as well. These bitches are doing ok but I think I need to improve… well i don’t know where. I played well against everyone… /sigh

Honestly you did play really well. My only guess is that you don’t use the KoF13 stuff so much. Maybe get some HD combos in your game and that should help even things out. You get lots of hits, just need more than some people to win because you don’t max damage. Our match really could have went either way, I don’t remember you making any mistakes at all. Definitely evenly matched.

And Javier… fuck man. I always need 2 lives to beat you. It’s like, I make it to the end boss and he kicks my ass, but good thing I saved a revive. What if one of the mid bosses kicks my ass next time though…

I won but I don’t feel good about that win. I need to crush you guys, not just scrape by. :lol:
