Seriously, we need to make an effort to get out there since Brian is trying to promote this one too but if it falls short again, I’m pretty much done with EZ’s. No point in driving an hour and a half or so to get barely an 8 man, or a canceled tournament. Gotta put effort into promoting if you want people to put effort into coming.

Yeah guys I am working with him to get EZ back on point. I will help with advertising and such. I am going to show him the ropes on how I do things and get him on the same page that I am on. I will support him as long as he is willing to learn. I will be out there for this for a bit to get things started but I can’t stay long at all. I will have enough time to get things started. That should be enough to do the trick. I will have the wife and baby with me. It was the only way I could get out. I have been spending a lot of time on ReSe and other events that I need to spend some time with them. Couldn’t justify her being mad at me for being gone all day so I was like shit you should just come with me lol. She went for it, hahaha, hell yeah. Now if only I could get her to come out more it would free up some of my time too, lol.

Hope to see you guys out there. EZ was a great place for us and you guys have some good memories there plus it’s in a good location for a lot of you for an NC tourney. Let’s not give up on it yet. This is short notice for me too so I just ask you give me a chance to get things in order. Tracy will be running the Fayetteville ReSe Ranbats so I am also invested in him running things correctly for that too so it will just carry over to the tourneys :wink:

[LEFT]So the RanBats in Greensboro on Wednesdays are ending. This will be the last week for them on Wednesday. I am going to reset the points for last week and do a payout for last week with the money collected. This Wednesday will be a cash pay out.[/LEFT]

[LEFT]ReSe RanBats will now be running together in 3 cities. Charlotte, Fayetteville, and Greensboro. They are not individual and all the points collected will be together with each city. It will be weekly for each city but once a month the RanBat will cycle to a city and that will be the only city with the RanBat FOR THAT WEEK. This will allow everyone to play each other for the top spot. [/LEFT]

[LEFT]Season 2 will be for Final Round XVI but because of the long time between now and then we will have a bonus major in Sept/Oct. We will be going to Seasons Beatings and the hotel will be paid for for whomever wants to go. [/LEFT]

[LEFT]Season 3 is where it’s at though!! Everyone will be competing for a chance to go to EVO 2013!! I should be able to take 7-10 people. That includes air, hotel, and entry!![/LEFT]

Claw Iori does so much damage with simple Drive cancel combos, I just put him first and let him burn up any meter I build, then I let K’ build it all back. Though I may rotate Claw back to anchor once I get more comfortable with him.

Im thinking for KOF at WNB we run a 3v3 tournament, where everyone gets one character per team. We can have one like captain on the team and two people who trying to pick it up in the front. Im thinking $10 per team but the CAPTAINS WILL PAY FOR YOUR ENTRANTS FEE! If you decide to put in money then you get half of the winnings. That shit sounds dope to me! And who cares if you lose you didn’t pay to enter anyway! I just want everyone to see the hype that is KOF13!!! Anyway here a vid to show you how these 3v3 rock. There dope!

Although i’m a bit more interested in the greensboro ranbats overall i’m poor till next month so i’ll see everyone for KoF on Wednesday. Gotta get some of those good appetizers too. It’s as Jon said, no bootycalls, narcoleptic naps, school and everything.

oh yeah i already told Mad that i was coming to WNB this week before KoF was announced so im there. i also already confirmed my attendance at EZ this weekend. i hate to see guys there like VicViper and Mikaul get left behind because the scene around them is failing. im in the same boat as Jon, i went to EZ two months ago and it was bust, then the one last month was bust…something has to change. and with ReSe taking over all the ranbats and such now i hope this makes for a unified scene, but i cant drive to EZ or to any of the other venues in vain.

i also think the 3v3 idea sounds HYPE as hell. but there are a couple issues.

  1. it would difficult to do on XBOX because switching from pads to different sticks is a chore
  2. would it be like each of the “bosses” gets a team or could there be a team of all bosses or would it be bosses vs bosses lol

I understand if you can’t make it out. I wasn’t even aware of it till a couple weeks ago so this just popped up on me too. I am not sure what the turnout will be like though. I am trying to advertise it as well but it may be to little to late for this months. Either way it will be a good chance for me to work with him. It was also schedules on the same day as a GA tourney so the guys told me they were going to stay in state instead of coming out but next time we should have some of them coming out.

I totally understand not driving out there in vain though. You can only try so much :wink:

No. I bring 2 PS3’s and 2 360’s myself and then what ever else people bring to setup. I will have 6 monitors there ready for systems so if you could help out and bring a system that would be great.

Also tomorrow is the last Wednesday night at Greensboro and we are doing a cash payout.

Just thought i’d say it, when you really sit down with a game like marvel it’s pretty fun breaking down stuff and trying out new things. I definitely feel like the cast was sort of bland in a way in the first game but the newly added characters definitely appeal. Just gotta get that strategy guide somewhere if I can find it since the data seems like it should help a good bit. Does anyone know of any place other than gamestop and amazon that may have it? Amazon says like 10-14 day shipping which I don’t really wanna wait 2+ weeks for it.
