Alright guys I have the venue worked out for the next round of RanBats but before I go any further I need to know if everyone can go to G’bo on Wednesdays. I am not going to drive all the way up there without a carpool to help with gas and if no one is going to show.
I need to know who all will come out for the next RanBats?
I am still working out the details on the tourney we will be going but the RanBats will be for the following games:

SF4
SCV
MK
SFxT
3S0
Really any game that get’s a following can compete. However it will most likely be the top tourney games that people play.
You know I have the monitors for it so we can run what ever people bring but.
So who can make it out to Greensboro on Wednesday nights for the RanBats?

Also I don’t really like team format tournaments so that’s why I’m not really planning on going to ATL. I really don’t like having to rely on other people for tournament results. This past 5v5 is a good example of why the team format is dumb for a major tournament.
re: Marvel at Champps, I agree with Will that it could easily be done. It’s not that people are “trying to get paid” and I’m getting sick of hearing that assertion, maybe it’s just that people want to play their favorite game more than every other week? Especially when it’s been done at places like EZ and RESE. Not putting pressure on the tournament runners at Champps btw, you guys do what you’re comfortable with.
I can agree with that. I’ve never been at the level in fighting games to feel that way but atleast if I ever play shooting games, League of Legends, RTS or those types of games I get pissed off destroying everyone only to lose because everyone else is incapable of holding their own.
Assuming no casinos and a room split 4 ways and no high class eating or alcohol consuming do you guys assume 750 would be enough to cover the whole trip of Evo if I can get a decent plane ticket price? I’ve asked before but don’t remember and i’d imagine people have an idea of the costs this year since it’s not at the same place.
Wow, really? Maybe we should all agree on an approximate time to meet at wolves’ den every day and see if there’s enough people that show up most days that it can become a regular thing. I remember seeing people play smash down there every day a year or two ago. Haven’t been down there in a while. I’m free most days from the 12-3ish range depending on the day.
In all honesty, his damage output isn’t really that much less than Takuma’s and he has way better anti-air.
PLUS he gets much more options off of crouching Bs (which will become more important as the game evolves), is the only character in the game with jump cancels, the only character in the game with a dash-cancelable move, and air HCB+K is stupid good for hopgames.
Been offline for a while. Nice new thread. Been in the lab in KOF every single day for several days. Vast improvement is being made. I’ll be at EZ tomorrow evening if anybody wants to play in Fay. Funny thing, some of the same people That were hating on KOF in the begining are all over KOF’s dick now. I find this quite funny.
Anyway, I don’t post here often anymore due to the fact that most of the serious KOF players in my city don’t post here often. I spend more of my time over at DC, where KOF lives. Holla at me!!!
