We have been running AE2012 and UMVC3 as main events one game per week alternatively with a Flavor of the Week small side Tourney on the side…last WNB was UMVC3 as main event and KOFXIII as Flavor of the Week and this coming week we will have AE2012 as main event and Soulcalibur 5 as Flavor of the week.

- What the hell happened while I was gone haha. I apologize to everyone for getting the idea of KoF being ran at Champps and then not even showing up. My sleep schedule has been COMPLETELY fucked lately so I’ve been trying to fix it, but I just happened to pass out accidentally and sleep for like 6 hours in the afternoon. I feel bad because it probably would have happened if I was there.
I would like to see it given another shot. Maybe we could pair Marvel and KoF? And maybe SF4 and SCV? I will do my best to get the word out and pressure people into coming when it happens again. Just don’t let this be a bad mark for either side, SRK players or for Tierless Heroes. I know everyone has the best intentions. I think both sides could use a little understanding for each other, but they laid out the rules for the side tournament and had a set time to start, people didn’t show so they did what they had to do. No faults there. But I just say give it time and try again. It was a bit spur of the moment for a lot of people so if word gets out to more of the KoF players, it’ll happen next time.

There is a second RDU carpool going to RESE. I talked to Demo and he seemed iffy on the ride with the lingmassacre thing going down so I got up with OJ, so me, him, Will, and Seth are coming as well. I plan to put the iron fist of Justice down on Noel, Dieminion, and that other guy.

I told Matt I would room with him and it sounds like he has 2 beds and Demo only has 1, correct? So if Matt has room then I’ll be in for that.
For rides, Demo, you’re probably coming through RDU, right? If it;'s out of the way for Matt then I’ll get in with Demo on the ride down there. Let me know what you guys are doing and what works best. I’m flexible on this.
If it comes to an emergency or no one wants to split, I’ll have room. I have a room in my name already, and I’m 100% all-in myself, though I am not carpooling, and I’m checking out of the room Sunday.

Tekken tournament with people from out of the state, one being from out of the country. Been planning to go to this event for months. Plus I highly enjoy Tekken and support it, so I’m there. Usually I can’t find a carpool or busy that day, but the day both are available there’s a Tekken tournament the same weekend. Maybe so other time bro.

If you’re rooming with Matt then why don’t you ride with him as well? That way you know you can get into the room for sure when you get there.
That and I’m trying to get in on one of these carpools myself. Not even gonna lie about that or act like I’m not.

You along with someone else I’ve talked with said they wouldn’t mind splitting a room just as long as its not too many and I really appreciate the feedback. As soon as I’m able to find a way down there I’ll confirm on whether or not I personally will be available or not, because I’m not the type to renege. Although it both of you guys case your original plan wasn’t to split, but I still like to keep to what I say. I may just end up having a long weekend off with some extra cash in my pockets, but regardless if I can get down there I’ll post up a cardboard box if I have to. Well maybe not a cardboard box, but a sturdy lobby will do just find as long as I can wash up in the bathroom. What am I talking about, there has to be some lonely chick I can sleep with for the weekend. Okay still a bad idea so I’m gonna stop there.

If you’re referring to MY post then you need not get upset with Demo. That was just an idea if people were having issues deciding on what they wanted to do. Nothing in stone, just a thought I posted.
Demo has pretty much been the only person to respond on the carpool side of things, minus Astral and a few others that said they weren’t carpooling but did have other options, and if he could I’m sure he’d carpool everyone down there comfortably. Unfortunately that is not the case so guys such as myself just waiting for something have to wait until other people can stop screwing around and tell him they’re in for good. I’ve posted on Facebook and SRK multiple times about carpool/rooms, but I don’t want to constantly bug Demo who’s trying to do the best he can. Especially when things that were told to him were different when told to another.

Carpooling- I wouldn’t have a problem taking you to there, but I’m not going all the way off to Raleigh from where I’m at, would add 3 hrs to 6.5 hrs drive. If you could get to where I live, I’d have no problem taking you down. (would pick you up just off the interstate, I know a good spot for that)
The problem is you’d probably want to stay for SF/Marvel GF’s. I won’t, and because of my job, I get sleepy in the evenings sometimes so I don’t think it’s smart for me to stay around for that cause I’m just not a big fan of those games, so you’d want to head back with someone else I think.
Hotel Room would be 1/2 share or around $160.

wow there’s a lot going on these days. I’m 100% going to FR. I’ll be getting up with people about arrangements soon.
Yeah, I’d recommend alternating SCV/KOF XIII rather than a random “flavor of the week” game. Nothing else is going to have numbers in this area. Every other Wednesday, I can go myself actually, so I should be at this coming event, maybe getting a ride with Jon or Kris…or hopefully someone just playing SCV so I don’t have to stay during SF4 lol.
