Does anyone keep up with KOF 13? It’s supposedly getting a console release but staying the 1.1 arcade revision. I heard Raiden and K’ were really ridiculous but don’t know if they are so good that if you don’t use them your screwed and should quit playing immediately.

That’s a bullshit claim and you know it. Justin’s not some sort of magical tournament winning machine. He’s a good player, but he can’t make a character do anything that you can’t make him do. Thor has a lot of issues, but when he gets into grab range he becomes SCARY AS HELL. Every hit either kills you or sets you up for a bullshit reset that will definitely kill you. He’s a grappler with a fucking beam special, an airdash, and flight. That by itself means a lot.

Not really BS man. Justin is way better than most players. It’s like picking Dan against your little sister or something, you’re still gonna win just because you’re so much better than them fundamentally.

Oftentimes, KOF games are like that- you need to use 1 or 2 chars or you’re screwed. Well-Balanced KOF is pretty much just the UM games. (98UM Krauser was not THAT bad, especially in the last revision of it where he got slight nerfs, specifically to the two moves I bitched about the most. I just wish that version hits the US in some form someday, but I know it never will.)

They made a ratio system out in Japan due to the balance problems.

Honestly, if XIII comes out, I’ll get it, but if it doesn’t, I won’t bitch about it, as I suspect the game will have no playerbase offline locally, or a workable online, so no one to play. I’ll be better off trying to learn Arcana.

The NC State session made me realize that although I do very well with my teams in sessions all the time, they’re actually very poorly designed. So I’m dropping them entirely and thinking of running a team like Zero/Amaterasu/Wesker.

It’s popular, just not in America. 98 Iori is the strongest Iori (in legitimate KOFs, 96 doesn’t count)

Sailor Chibi Moon is the worst fighting game character ever. Which means she’s really the BEST character ever.

I still recall you doing well at some KOF tournaments so if you support 13 i’ll definitely come to you for help. I’ve tried playing the KOFs and i’m just ass lol like I own 2002, 2002um, 2003 and 12 but just can’t do anything with it lol
