Do Americans know by and large to use any KOF character? K’ is one of the easier KOF chars. Raiden will be as used as Rufus- used less then he should be, but still plenty.
Any game, people will gravitate to the easy to win characters. Team games make this trend even more noticable, as you have 3 slots.

If you do not PM me and I don’t say “ok come on over”, don’t expect to get in. I have limited space so I’d like to keep the numbers under control.
This is primarily a Marvel gathering. I may have a side TV with something if someone brings a setup but right now I only have 1 setup, and Marvel is going on there. If someone could bring a sexbox copy, we’ll be able to have 2 setups. If you want to play Arcana, bring a PS3 with the game on it. This is NOT an Arcana gathering though so if you are expecting to get a lot of Arcana play time, sorry.
Rules:
Start time will be around 6:30. If I have to stay later at work I’ll update you guys on here.

I really hope KOF13 gets a scene here, I like to play at least one airdash fighter and kof/sf style fighter at the same time. Nothing beats the GG/3S combo, but this is pretty sick too.

Well, if anyone wants a lesson in KOF, you always know where I am.
I would suggest getting on 98/UM or 2002/UM ahead of time and learning your KOF fundamentals NOW, because when KOF13 comes out you don’t want to get stuck learning basics with all the new combos in the game.
I did end up getting my room for Orlando now. Well, technically it’s not a hotel room, it’s a 2 bedroom unit. Turns out my grandfather owns a share in the resort. It’s not at the exact same hotel, but it’s part of the same resort and only half a block from the venue anyway, so no biggie.
If anyone wants a spot in the place you need to speak up NOW. Turns out it’s not quite free, but still pretty close so $20 gets you a spot for the WHOLE weekend (not per day, but ALL 4 days combined will be $20 if you want a spot).
Only problem is that I don’t want to buy a 360 converter for just one tournament, so if anybody wants to rent me one, I’ll pay to rent it for Marvel for the weekend.
I also don’t know what kind of set-ups they have in the unit, but Jebailey said that the connection panels on the hotel TVs are locked out so you pretty much want to bring your own set-up if you want to play in your rooms at the hotel itself.

lol I got my friend into T6 and have been teaching him weekly. He really isn’t able to grasp the more 2D style games but is pretty nice at T6. If the next gamefrog or luckies has it you should come out and enter the tournament with us two. I’m sure Saisyu will enter as well and SeventhFonan if he goes.
Also if you go as well Demo, then the total NC people going to CEO will be pretty high. Myself, My friend Dustin, the guy i’ve been teaching T6 to, SeventhFonan, Brandino (though technically he will be considered Ohio by this point), Shiki and you. Since for the most part us 5 got our room stuff already figured out i’m gonna leave the cheap rooming up to other people to take advantage of.
We should get some more representation although I realize getting off work, money or even limits on how many majors you can make it to per year are obviously a factor.
