Microbrewing just refers to limited size of production, not an actual brewing technique of any kind.
I think wesker has the most potential out of any character in the game (non phoenix) and is as good as the person playing him is, you can take him as far as you want to.
In contrast, Phoenix is BETTER then the person playing her and allows you to beat people you normally wouldn’t be able to beat with very little effort.
Wesker has all the tools but you need to know how and when to use them.

Bolded the ones I didn’t agree with 100%. I think Wesker and Dog should be moved down one. Jill… I don’t know enough about her to say but she seems to have potential, and Doom is definitely higher. Skrull should be lower I think. Agree otherwise though.

Jill does have potential; the problem with her is is damage is really low for the effort that goes into it. Doom is the most overrated non-Sentinel character in the game. How does he hit people? I still have no answer for this question outside of XF guard cancel Doom time.
AE is the end of the 4 series, eh? Not sure how I feel about that, but we’ll see.
For Doom he has dash cancelable normals into IAD j.B (2 hits) IAD j.BB (1hit) into a low, and air dash down forward into low. His throws lead to combos too, and he can zone, on top of having 3 excellent assists.
He definitely can run his game better with an assist though but I think we haven’t seen anyone showing what doom truly can do just yet.
AE being the end of 4 just means Darkstalkers and then SF5 probably, after Street Fighter X Rehash and Tekken x Mugen.
Doom Time is also bullshit.
All of those air options lose to pushblock; the empty dash just gets AA’d by whatever button comes out for the input. No wavedash possibilities means once he’s out, he’s out for a good while, where he has lackluster zoning. His throws lead to combos, yes, but the price for missing one is steeper for Doom than for any other character; a missed backthrow shoots a Hidden Missile, and a missed airthrow fires a buttergun, neither of which are cancelable on whiff, meaning you get punished for missing grabs unlike almost every other character in the game. The three assists are all good, yes, but when you’re stuck with Doom solo, you lose 99% of the time.
Skrull is a character that people haven’t really shown off yet, but I think he’s one of the best anchors in the game.
Akuma’s lvl3 does the most damage, and fully invincible until it hits.

Those mixups are mostly used under cover of assist. Shit is hard to block when it’s covered by Dog Star or something similarly block stun inducing and view obstructing. That or on wake up. I like butter gun > assist > mixup as well.
Oh and can’t forget herp derp xfactor level 3 level 3 super in block stun makes him basically get to kill someone for free, if you are stuck with him last. Plus his combos hurttttt and build a butt ton of meter. Can’t wave dash, but dash > JC > air dash df repeat xN covers a good bit of ground quickly.
Biggest issue with doom keeping him from being higher is his weak pokes IMO. I don’t see him attacking Zero or Dante safely very easily.
Amen to that!! This was one of my biggest turn offs, when I tried playing Jill for the first time. I also feel the same way about Morrigan, but she’s got more going for her than Jill.

i don’t see why people think wolverine is that good. his divekick can be punished with a grab on block from anywhere on the screen and his berserker slash mix up is very unsafe unless he has the meter to make it safe so its not something you can just do for free. in my experience if you downback or play keepaway with wolverine there isn’t much he can do.
In your experience people were jumping in with divekicks and not using assists

Even if it is the end I hope it still gets support for a while atleast until the new SF comes out. I have no idea what they are going to do though, SF3 was different from 2 and obviously 4 is different than both of those as well so whether it’d be similar to an SF we already have i’m unsure.
