We still do have monthly tournaments in Charlotte and I think Hickory might be bi-monthly or monthly. I have NO IDEA what the hell is going on with luckys looking at how sporadic tournaments are held there now, where as before I remember that was literally every single month, Gamefrogs last tournament was in January. I mean it’s all good though it’s not like I can say I consistently have the time every single month to run these things and alot goes into them. I think it’s just that we really need more organization as far as when the tournaments are run, where they are run, and people need to know how to get that info easily rather than searching for it through multiple pages of the tournaments and events page.
Imagine if I was a new player and my first post consisted of my life story and I asked for players to help me get better with no intention of coming out to sessions or tournaments. Why would any of y’all care about my life story or want to help me get better if I’m never going to contribute to the community? That is exactly how bryri came off in his first post.

And at this point he has admitted that he misjudged our community and is now interested in participating, so why would you continue to bring this up? Leave the guy alone. If he’s some sort of arrogant egomaniac, we’ll find out when we meet him in person. If not, then we have another member of the community who is serious about improving, which is something we should all be happy about.

What’s interesting (and kind of scary) is that the culture is moving in a direction where drinking soda may very well be considered analogous with smoking or drinking alcohol to excess. Yes, it’s a troll, but still interesting.
