WHELP! Done with Project X Zone 2 fora while.
Just finished mission 26 with about 22 hours into the game. As it was starts to after chapter scene the game fucking CRASHES on me. I’m too afraid to restart the game to see if my save state is still in tact.
Picked up Mega Man Legacy Collection. You can actually play the USA or Japanese versions of the games, which is a really nice touch. Not eve the console or PC versions have this option. No input lag and the games look and sound great. They include the box and cartridge art from and front and back of the manuals from each game. I love it when they have stuff like that.
All apart of the plain to market the game. The pc/etc versions could have had this too. But they nerfed that on purpose. It’s like they would do this V times.
Damn that’s crazy considering how Awakening was set to be the last game if it didn’t take off, and it ended up i guess pumping life back into the series. It seems Nintendo has another staple handheld series now that can bring em the $$$
Beat PXZ2. The story is as nonsensical as the first one and “technically” it’s prequel Namco X Capcom. It’s overall a really fun game though. I hate rating systems for the most part but a solid 7/10. If you enjoyed the first one you’ll enjoy the second.
The biggest plus side to PXZ2 is that it’s no where near as grindy or boss rush mode as the first once until the last 3 chapters.
If I decide to play through it again though I know to be much more cautious with how I distribute points to raise attacks though. Most characters you’ll only use 2-3 of their 5 attacks.
That’s the thing though. Awakening lunatic wasn’t tactics to me, it was luck with bloated stats and abilities. It just never felt hard to me. (Your own broken characters didn’t really help)
With Fates there’s actually strategy, especially with reworked pair up mechanics, toned down stats and children units not being op(except maybe kamui child lol).
