Nintendo 3DS - Best Handheld Today

Need DQVII in my life. Bravely Second too as long as it doesn’t do that fuckshit towards the end like Default did with the repeating dungeons. Ugh.

We have a direct and E3 right around the corner. The 3DS is no where near done. It’s silly to think otherwise.

WHELP! Done with Project X Zone 2 fora while.
Just finished mission 26 with about 22 hours into the game. As it was starts to after chapter scene the game fucking CRASHES on me. I’m too afraid to restart the game to see if my save state is still in tact.

I guess I’ll open my copy of FE: Fates now. XD

I like the fact the lunatic is available at the start for FE: Fates.

Also conquest does not pull punches holy shit.

what difficulty are you playing conquest on?

Picked up Mega Man Legacy Collection. You can actually play the USA or Japanese versions of the games, which is a really nice touch. Not eve the console or PC versions have this option. No input lag and the games look and sound great. They include the box and cartridge art from and front and back of the manuals from each game. I love it when they have stuff like that.

Wait… are you telling me Capcpom DIDN’T FUCK THIS UP?

I don’t believe you… You need more people.

Lunatic now, I started on Hard. It was pretty damn difficult but fell off a little.
Lunatic doesn’t let you breath.
Feels alot harder than Awakening.

All apart of the plain to market the game. The pc/etc versions could have had this too. But they nerfed that on purpose. It’s like they would do this V times.

FE Fates sold 300,000 units in the first 3 days. That’s nuts.

Damn that’s crazy considering how Awakening was set to be the last game if it didn’t take off, and it ended up i guess pumping life back into the series. It seems Nintendo has another staple handheld series now that can bring em the $$$

thanks to having 2 versions

^ Technically 3 versions lol. We haven’t even seen DLC sales number.

Long live Fire Emblem, and I hope the keep improving the series.

Beat PXZ2. The story is as nonsensical as the first one and “technically” it’s prequel Namco X Capcom. It’s overall a really fun game though. I hate rating systems for the most part but a solid 7/10. If you enjoyed the first one you’ll enjoy the second.

The biggest plus side to PXZ2 is that it’s no where near as grindy or boss rush mode as the first once until the last 3 chapters.

If I decide to play through it again though I know to be much more cautious with how I distribute points to raise attacks though. Most characters you’ll only use 2-3 of their 5 attacks.

Holy crap I finally beat Conquest Chapter 10…so much rage, many restarts, 1-3% crits, and I had a 98% chance attack miss.

Lord I need a drink.

Bought Fates. So far Lunatic is waaaay fairer than Awakening Lunatic.

But it is still hard. I lost a map I had basically wrapped up because I ignored an archer.

I never had a lot of trouble with awakening on lunatic.

How far are you?

Awakening Lunatic was just straight RNG BS.

That’s the thing though. Awakening lunatic wasn’t tactics to me, it was luck with bloated stats and abilities. It just never felt hard to me. (Your own broken characters didn’t really help)

With Fates there’s actually strategy, especially with reworked pair up mechanics, toned down stats and children units not being op(except maybe kamui child lol).

RNG loves you then.

Playing in Birthright chapter 9. I wanted to do Conquest first but decided Birthright due to me needing the Dragon’s gate to get Conquest.

Ninja’s are extremely powerful.
