It’s going to be hard to want to play SFV with Fire Emblem sitting there.
I’m going to play through Project X Zone 2 first. As excited as I am for FE I’m not in any real hurry to play it.
The store called me to remind me about FE tomorrow. The collector’s edition costs over $100 (I live in Canada). Luckily I’ve been saving a gift card I got for Christmas to bring down the price by half.
Ahh the mighty Canadian Peso.
We best be going up soon, considering gas went up 20 cents in the past few days.
Cause if gas is high and the dollar aint worth shit, I have no happiness in life.
PXZ2 is a lot of fun. I went ahead and bought all the Dlc packs since I basically got the game for free. So now I have a bunch of amazing items, equipment and CP (customization points?) that make your attacks stronger. They’ve added a lot to the game which I really appreciated it. The story line is as wonky as I expected so I’m in love.
Already tons of great humor. Lots of subtle references to older games from each publishers history, making fun of otakus and even referencing a lot of different anime and manga.
I’m only on chapter 3 but I really like it. Iunno if it’s as good as the first one but I’ve barely scratched the surface of 2 so it’s hard to say.
BTW for anyone who preordered the game you cannot access your item pack and challenge map until completing all the prologue levels. The code you’re given is redeemed inside the game.

On some real shit I should’ve prob kept my pre order. For the Fates: SE as it’ll save money in the long run since i know that games are never gonna price drop. But my job is ending next week so i had to cut out a few purchases. But idk I been seeing its available at best buy so i may swoop it this weekend
Project X Zone 2 is killing me.
They’ve referenced Gunsmith Cats (one of my favorite Mangas), Where in the World is Carmen San Diego? And Legend of Zelda all within the span of an hour.

I think buying all three separately is the same if you don’t mind downloads. If I remember right the main game is 40 but downloading the second path is only 20 and the third is another 20.
Which path are you guys doing first? Went with conquest because I feel like that story will be better. Funny thing though, I never finished awakening. I couldn’t get into the story and the game was too easy without much variety in the mission goals. I’ll probably beat it later on. Same with bravely default and its freaking repetition in the end.
Got my FE:F Special Edition today. I do not like the pouch. It feels stretchy, like spandex for my New 3DS XL. Everything else is nice. I think I will use the reverse side of the art.
Wish 3DS was getting some non turn based love too…oh well enjoy your FE guys.
For anyone who bought Map Pack 1 it’s an in-game DLC code, not an eShop code
Tales of the Abyss is on 3ds…thats the only non turn based rpg I can think of instantly for the system
One’s a beta the other has Pokemon Red Version & Blue Version.
Hmmm might check out Tales of the Abyss and juat reminded myself i need to get Xenoblade Chroncilea rhta isnt turn based it looks like it has fun acion combat.
So is Nintendo done making games for 3DS? Is it naive to expect another Kid Icarus, Donkey Kong, Mario 3D, type of game for the system with NX on the horizon?
After the release of the newest FE games, what is thefe left for the 3DS?
Don’t really know, but there’s a Nintendo Direct for March or April coming up, so we should get some clarification soon.
Dragon Quest ports, Metroid Prime Federation Force, Hyrule Warriors Legends, Zero Escape 3, Bravely Second. These are some of the imo noteworthy titles coming to the system that we’re aware of at the moment.
