I didn’t like when they started making several versions like Pokemon. It wasn’t a big enough series to warrant it IMO. Though I never thought it was a bad series. I think they just made too many. Especially with the said different versions.
I might buy them all again on VC and replay them. It might change my mind. I haven’t played 2 and 3 since their original release.

Was watching game grumps current LttP playthrough and it made me want to play LBW again. I forgot how good this game is. I just beat the house of gales.
Despite it all paying off and making sense in the end I hate how you rent items instead of finding them in dungeons.

I thought Fates had all 3 paths in the game and you just picked your path after the intro. I don’t think there are three different versions like Pokemon.
Wow the reaction to Metroid Prime: Federation Force is overwhelmingly negative. People are actually taking heat for being optimistic about the game. Its being developed by Next Level Gaemes so I’ve got some hope for it.
'Cause it’s a spin-off game and not the new Metroid they were hoping for.
After Other M I’m pretty sure this isn’t exactly what Metroid fans wanted.

After reading this article on Wired, I must say I’m a little more intrigued by Federation Force. At least enough to not completely write it off as a fail.

Tanabe did the Prime games so it’s got that going for it. He claims that this new game will be important to the story, and that Samus is an NPC we’ll get to interact with.
Yeah, and the levels of butthurt coming from these fans is just insane. There are actually people saying it isn’t “deadly serious” because the character designs contrast those of the Prime and Other M games. I wasn’t aware that spin-off games HAD to use the same character design style of the main series. Peeps are actually signing a petition to get the game canceled. As if that was going to accomplish anything. Right now a lot of Metroid fans are coming off as irrational Sonic fans.
For anyone who has been on the fence about up grading or waiting for the right time to, right now GameStop has a deal where if you trade in your 2DS or either 3DS model towards the N3DS you instantly get $100 store credit towards it.
