Nintendo 3DS - Best Handheld Today

Sounds good, although do they help you move over your saved junk or do you have to do that on your own?

As long as that process takes AND you have to have an Internet connection to do it, pretty sure you’re SOL when it comes to that.

@chadouken! Until the 27th.

@Wellman No. They don’t. Some gamestops suggest buying the N3DSXL without the trade in, go home to transfer date, come back to the store to return it then re-check out the same system with the trade. Which is just convoluted and stupid IMO.

You can just call Nintendk and answer a few questions (Nintendo ID, Email, brief list of purchase history usually) and wait around at most a day for them to transfer your data over to the new system.

Probably going to skip on the New line and wait to see what the NX is. Since they merged the handheld and console development I’m still thinking it is a hybrid. Maybe one part is a portable tablet the other is a console. Both could operate and be purchased on their own, but together could do shit like be backwards compatible with wii u or something.

Damn, if only the New 3DS used the standard SD cards, I would already have one by now. But the complicated transfer of data and the fact that I downloaded saved games like Shovel Knight, Phoenix Wright and such that I want to carry over without starting from scratch really makes me unwilling to give into my inner game crazy self and buy it. Xenoblade or not.

You can back up your save data on 3DS, and they will be transferred.

I want to get a New 3DS but the transfer method is straight booty. I can get a 3DS XL and transfer all my stuff without a headache and for less money.

I didn’t have any issues with my transfer. All I did was call Nintendo and they did it. That’s it.

Dragon quest XI.

NEED.

The screen shots look sick.

Whelp, got my vacation pay and got a New 3DSXL. Did the wireless transfer and while it took some time, it was headache free. That bigger screen is a huge improvement over the regular 3DS, though I’ve played with the aforementioned for so long that I catch myself forgetting where the start and power buttons are on my N3DSXL. Smash looks better than ever and even my NES games feel much more comfortable to play on this handheld.

I did pick up a few new games. Style Savvy: Trendsetters was only $20 at my fye and that Smash music along with a few reviews sparked my interest to take a look (don’t judge me).

My GameStop had a used copy of Pokemon X and since I got Y for a friend at work, I thought now would be a good time to pick up the latest gen Pokemon game. I haven’t played a game in this series since gen one so yeaaaaaahhhh, I’m way out of the loop.

I couldn’t find Tomodachi Life in any stores so I ordered if off Amazon. Time time make a ton more Miis!

Curious to see what changes M2 will make to Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and Gunstar Heroes.

Spoiler

I’m surprised as well considering the cases are longer than normal. Case 3 was my favorite so far. Poor Kate.

They need to have a case with two bodies and two murderers.

Spoiler

Also von Karma remains a dick. Poor Gregory.

Wait until you find out who the Final Boss is.

Jesus, finished AAI2.

[details=Spoiler]Simon was on some other shit. His reveal was fucking awesome (reminded me of Kefka).

All in all this stands as one of the best AA games, probably ties for best.

Also I really hate to say this since it’s you-know-who’s catchphrase, but…

FUCK YOU CAPCPOM FOR NOT BRINGING AAI2 OVER!!!

Petition for Capcom to put AAI 1 and 2 on the e-shop?
