Just got my New 3ds xl today. After trade ins and shit I only paid the tax on it. So pretty good imo. Haven’t opened it tgough. Been feeling under the weather all day today
3D Out Run is legit. Love the 3D effect. The game has an original mode and an arrange mode where the tracks are all different.
I brought my n3DS yesterday. The c-nub is fucking stiff. Feels more like a button than a what it’s suppose to be. I should get MH4 shortly.
The C nub is a d pad.
Treat it like one and not like a stick. Also it’ll loosen up a bit through use.
Just waiting for Etrian Mystery Dungeon. That’ll be my third 3DS game.

I’m still not sold on the new 3DS XL. The upgrades don’t seem worth it and it’s only got one exclusive.

Probably not until Nintendo announces a new exclusive N3ds game and after that more companies will probably start making gaming N3ds exclusive.
If it doesn’t, it’s not gonna continue to sell.
I’m sure Nintendo will announce more exclusives when E3 rolls around.
Its really gonna be up to Nintendo because no 3rd party is going to put their game on the line unless they’re assured sales…and right now they aren’t. Personally I can see Nintendo doing like maybe 2-3 more exclusives for the n3DS for the next 2 years before the successor drops. I can just as easily be wrong though.
Nintendo doesn’t have problems getting third party support for their handhelds like they do with their consoles. Third parties know Nintendo got the portable market on lock.

And rather, there’s hardly a support for handheld on the Vita (unless you’re otaku, we’re getting a treasure trove in the making) and a lot of people have chosen their handheld solely for the past libraries of either (in which the DS still had more support).
I feel like the 3DS library isn’t expanding as fast as the gameboy and DS did, but in exchange the starting titles were all really solid. I did not in a million years expect Kid Icarus to suddenly make a comeback right when it came out. lol That was crazy. Sakurai is nuts.
Yea but if you’re going to choose between selling to the tons of regular 3DS owners PLUS N3DS owners or just the N3DS owners, we know what most companies will take.
Especially when it seems like you can have N3DS only enhancements for games that can run on the regular 3DS (See: Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate better texture, etc).
