I’m not sure why either. It’d make sense for them to at least consider the 3ds just by the resolution of that screenshot.
On animal crossing I haven’t been able to get to 10 villagers in my town. Someone always wants to leave when I hit 9 or so. It’s annoying how they randomly want to leave when I talk to all of them all the time. Even more annoying when you want them to ask you if they should stay, and they never do and pack their bags to leave.
GDLK music that doesn’t get annoying after replaying levels check. Gorgeous visuals check. Responsive, uncomplicated, tight controls check. Intelligent level design check. Hard as balls check. Yup it’s one of the best platformers ever made.
One of my friends who was never really into games besides GTA and Halo lost interest in the medium completely a year or two ago. Anyways, he stopped by my house last week to play ball and while we were in my room waiting for our friends to confirm if they could play he saw my 3DS, and popped in DCKR on a whim and was instantly hooked. He loved it and said it reminded of him of Rayman: Origins but was surprised you only get 2 hearts It was cool to see one of my best friends who is at times condescending about my passion for video games temporarily give in to the fun, that’s a true sign of a quality title
Like I’ve said before 3DS has been a great home for platformers:
Cave Story 3D
Shinobi
DCKR 3D
SM3DL
Sonic Lost World
Epic Mickey

Anyone have Sonic Generations 3D? Video reviews show it literally rips levels from the genesis sonic and there is no game play different between classic and modern sonic so I skipped it.
I wonder if they meant the PSN because despite it getting a few ports of the more recent Capcom games, I never heard there was significant fighting game community support of the Vita outside of a few Vita die hards. Shame, hopefully they switch it back but it isn’t like the 3DS is starving for software at this point… though I am hungry for a new fighting game.
The reviews I’ve read on Sonic Generations 3D have been favorable. There is a difference between classic and modern in the 3D version. Modern Sonic is based on level design and mechanics of the Sonic Rush series. It did fuck up on classic Sonic by giving him the homing attack too.
It’s all preference really, I really like the difficulty of running solo instead of destroying bosses in 5 mins or less with a group of randoms, though nothing beats running with bros.
and surely I ain’t fucking with event super monsters with anyone other than good players. Super I. Lagi is insane.
Monster Hunter is definitely a game you should buy if you have friends who love to play it as much as you.
G rank monsters are fucking ridiculous to fight on your own, though. I can’t even kill a damn G rank Querpeco and I have some pretty badass equipment.
Ok that’s kind of an exaggeration. I’ve killed a g rank Querpeco, but I’ve never killed a g rank Pink Rathian on my own and they’re not that much harder. It’s probably even harder for the many people who don’t use Gunlances.
Awesome, if only it didn’t release 2 days after Super Mario 3D Land it might have had a shot at selling decently. Whoever chose to release it then is probably a scientologist.
