Might Switch Force 2 is out out today for $6. Played the first three stages and feel right at home. There are 16 stages to start out with but pretty sure there will be more once you’ve gotten through them. There are some great fire/water puzzle setups so far.

The music is even better than the first game…especially the third stage (Exothermic). Fucking Jake Kaufman!

Project X Zone demo was cool, it didn’t blow me away but then again I imported Namco X Capcom many years ago. Still getting it day one though.

So is that new Animal Crossing the business? the Gamecube version was crack especially when you could have playable NES games in your house, shit was nuts.

Someone posted a few days ago something about a free download of Monster Hunter 3ds if you register Monster Hunter Wii U and give a code to someone who registers a 3ds xl, anyone find any more info on this? I’ve found it at two sites, but both seem to be UK centered.

So as a proud new papa of a 3DS XL, are there any accessories I should be aware of? I know there’s the circle pad for the XL, and I’m getting that dock just because, but are there any extended batteries or anything? I’m not finding much out there.

Got Fire Emblem Awakening for my birthday.

I’m going to be playtesting games at Ubisoft for the next two days and I’m getting a $200 gift card out of it. I’m contemplating getting an XL with it. I was gonna save it towards the PS4 fund…which is at $0 right now. We’ll see if I can keep my urges in check.

If you haven’t dled the new update…then you should. It comes with some new street pass stuff along with more stability to your system.

looks like EU/UK have a bigger and better update than NA at the moment

No Xenoblade puzzle for me, but I did get a Skyward Sword one.

Anybody on that Animal Crossing High? I can’t believe how addicting this game is. Its the first time I tried a game of the series.

I will definitely cop Mighty Switch Force 2 soon as well.

Can anyone help me decide between Donkey Kong Country Returns and Monster Hunter? I just got my Third game of the free Games Promotion and I really can’t decide. Honestly I don’t play my 3DS much (And by ‘much’ I mean I’m completely addicted to Animal Crossing and I probably won’t play another 3ds title as ‘much’) But out of the two which one would you guys recommend?

I think most would say DK since MH has no online so unless you have people to play with offline you would have to solo MH.

There are extended batteries, but the do, of course, make your 3DS XL bigger in the back, meaning you won’t be able to use other accessories like a protective plastic casing or the Circle Pad Pro. The 3DS XL is already more power effecient than its predecessor, so I wouldn’t worry about it too much. The battery charges pretty fast anyways.

So, Mirror of Fate fucking sucks. The demo was boring and did they add fall damage to my Castlevania? Really?

Anyway, how is Donkey Kong Country? Thinking about downloading that next. I just picked up Seasons and Ages for $5 each and since I’ve never played them before, it’s even better for me. Started with Seasons first and just got the boomerang from the dance minigame with those mole things.

DKCR3D is simply one of the best platformers ever made, nuff said.Also it’s nice to see a few of you getting into the Oracle games IMO they’re among the best Zelda’s right up there with OOT and ALTTP, especially seasons.

Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D: A great port of one of the best platforming games in the last generation of gaming if not the best.

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate: A great game built for grinding, having buddies that have the game and epic battles with large bosses.

Really, it just depends on what you are looking for in a game. Both are enhanced/upgraded ports of two of the best looking Wii games, which puts them on par with the current 3DS offerings and best of their respective genres for the system.
