You got a XL or regular 3DS, I’ve not really had that problem, although I straight up worry about my ‘A’ button going out on me one day given all the constant pressing most games require of it.
Monster Hunter requires a good amount of commitment. Not to mention that it is best played with multiplayer. I have it, and I intend to buy the Wii U version as well. But just playing single player I put in about 20 or so hours. I would play more if the 3DS game had online play.
I’m enjoying Fire Emblem but I’m getting my ass handed to me already (I started playing on Hard). I got a whole bunch of DLC but it all looks like broken stuff. Is it safe to use some of the teams I’m seeing? Are any of the maps good for training?
$75 before promos at Gamestop. I can’t remember if you got the extra 10% on hardware if you’re a powerup member. Check in store to see if they’re still running that 50% bonus towards hardware upgrades, that might be over with E3 gone. Never mind, gone. But depending on your area you might be able to get an extra 50% trade in bonus if you renew your membership. It varies by location and takes a couple of days to get the coupon, so check first.
Kitsunian is correct. There’s a promo going around where if you renew your pro membership you get a 50% extra trade in coupon on everything in one transaction: games, accessories, systems, Consumer electronics (idevices and what not). Pro membership does not get you 10% off on systems or 10% extra on system trade ins.
Actually thinking about it…Marketing Sunday is coming up. If you were planning to trade in anything I’d wait until Monday to see what gets changed because right now there aren’t any hardware trade in deals. Next week’s marketing should have an E3 focus but they may slip in some hardware stuff too.
Just beat Oracle of Seasons for the first time. Awesome Zelda game! Now it’s time for Ages, linked. I can’t believe I missed these when they first came out, but I’m kinda glad I did!
I’ve had physical copies of both games for years, but never got around to them. Now that I have that Zelda DS Lite, it’s time I did.
Whoops, just found out the DS Lite doesn’t play GBC games. Good thing I found the GB player for my Gamecube, I’ll play it there.
just got me a 3ds today. bought zelda oft. to big of a classic to pass up. next will be mario kart. anything else i need to know about this handheld? last time i bought a nintendo handheld was gamboy advance lol. o and i played the ff music demo, my god so fun and godliek.
Kokuga, G.rev’s 1-4 player shmup already out in Japan, is finally getting a localization. Digital only, which I’m fine with since it’s a niche game/genre and G.rev is not exactly a big company.
G.rev’s Facebook:
We are really pleased to announce the international release of Kokuga! Release dates are still being worked out, but the North/South America version may be out as soon as June 27, with the European/Australian version due in July.
I’m now a proud owner of a blue 3DS XL! Can’t wait to try out the games. Right now I’m transferring stuff over to it from home. It turned out to be a pain in the ass when I went to buy the XL because I wanted to transfer everything at the store.
