Oh yea dont worry I am still excited to play the game. I was just talking about certain things that I have been hearing and my own thoughts on why this wont be the best game in the series to me. I am still really excited to play it and get comfy with the partner options as the demo was enjoyable.
Just saw the nintendo direct and am still watching it but I am soooooo excited for the new installment of mario and luigi. I remember all the enjoyment I got out of he first one and that is honestly one of my favorite games. I have played the second one but did not like it as much as the first and I have only played through half of bowsers inside story so I am actually going to play through that one fully soon but I am so excited for that mario and luigi
my life was kind of busy when I first started playing inside story so that is why I never finished and honestly dont even remember anything about it. So this made me excited to play it.
Why dont you like that it will be in 3d?
I admit when I first got my 3ds i hated the 3d feature but as I got more used to I enjoy it sooooooooooo much. Seriously even just little things like the titles in each passing phase in the fire emblem demo. I really enjoy the 3d features now and am looking forward to mario and luigi being in 3d.
I feel that alot of the charm from the M&L games came from those beautifully animated sprites, and I just can’t see how that’ll translate with polygons, but I have faith in AlphaDream.
NOA is doing a 3DS XL free game download promotion
The stipulation though is that you gotta buy the 3DS XL, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, and Luigi’s Mansion and register all of them. The choice free games are Super Mario 3D Land, Freakyforms Deluxe, Starfox 3D, Prof Layton and Miracle Mask, or Art Academy. This isn’t such a bad deal if you’re a planning to get an XL…and care about the offshoot Mystery Dungeon games.
I’m having a hell of a time trying to download that 3D trailer for Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D. I also want to say that this better not be all that Retro is working on…
The full 3ds trailers have been posted to youtube…all except DKR3D
Lego City Undercover: The Chase Begins - February Direct Debut Trailer
Fire Emblem Awakening - Accolades Trailer
I’d be funny if the shortage on Fire Emblem was just Nintendo testing the consumer base to see how long they’d hold out before giving in and purchasing a digital game
Animal Crossing New Leaf - February Direct Trailer
HarmoKnight - February Direct Debut US Trailer
Yeah…I’m planning on buying this.
Kersploosh! - February Direct Debut Trailer
Mario and Donkey Kong Minis on the Move - February Direct Debut Trailer

I get what your saying, for me i just find the charm in the personalities the games have because of all the goofy dialogue and the characters and combined with the gameplay they are just so much fun. <div><br></div><div>In other news I am also really excited for Donkey Kong Country Returns coming to the 3DS. I’ve never played the games myself, but I think it’s just the appeal of having your own virtual world to build and mess around with, as well as having people visit your world and you visiting theirs. So yeah, it would be aimed at people who like The Sims or any type of god game, but with that Nintendoness (anthromorphic animals). There’s probably more to it, but like I said, never played it but I can see how it might appeal to a certain group.
Am I the only one who feels a need to watch that Fire Emblem intro every time I turn the 3DS on?<br>
<div>Also, is there any kind of faq for forging weapons? I get the basics of it, but as much as it costs, I’d like to get some detailed info on what to look for, how to best balance different weapons, etc.</div>

Still going through my first play through but I’d like info on this as well because given the price, I’ve just decided to forsake it and now late in the game I can’t see what the point is for it not that I’ve got some of my characters that get criticals and skill boosted attacks every other encounter. <br>

<font color="#ffffff">I’m not the biggest Animal Crossing fan but I got a taste of it on the Wii. It can actually be a fun and addicting game but the thing is the fact that it demands your attention every day. The appeal is having a sort of second life to live where a world goes on with or without you. Say Christmas Eve rolls around and you have a chance to get a super rare gift from someone dressed at Santa Clause between the hours of 3-4 o’clock. If you aren’t there during that period than you potentially lose out on participating in that event. Smaller and bigger events take place like that all the time. The earlier games involved you starting out in debt under Tom Nook and you working for money to get rid of that debt while doing ‘chores’ and talking with other people. Then you can customize your house, fashion, and actually do some landscaping about. It’s just a relatively easy going game that doesn’t really have an end goal and has plenty of stuff to do in it all year long. Hanging in other people’s town’s and trading/buying fruit in another person’s town is also pretty fun. I’m sure there’s plenty of things I’m missing about having to deal with that game but if you prefer your game to have an end then it probably just isn’t for you. The only way you’re going to find out really if it is for you is if you actually give it a shot…and you’d have to actually play it for more than 1 day to actually ‘get’ Animal Crossing.</font><br>

I used to want that until I thought about it. This game isn’t like Advanced Wars, there’s no fog-of-war and no way to produce new units mid-battle. Two people playing against each other would essentially just be dancing outside of each other’s attack ranges, or if the map is too small for that, one person cornering the other. I know they used to have it in Shadow Dragon and I’m guessing they took it out because it was really unbalanced or something. Even if you added fog-of-war and took off permadeath, battles would probably be extremely one-sided or stale-mated.

Shadow Dragon had PvP. <div><br></div><div>I’m enjoying FEA. The art seems a bit simplistic though, not original like the other games. </div>
