They obviously aren’t the exact same thing, but the result is teh same - doing something knowingly that handicaps your game.
If you choose this character as your main, you know that they’re gimped. I just can’t justify that as an excuse. It’s fine if were just playing, but if you sit down and say “this is my main”. Then thats your choice, I see no reason to complain about it. If you’re good, you can handle it.
Talking on the phone, during a set while someone is using their main. Then having them come out and lie about how they destroyed you, I don’t see the justification behind it, and how I’m “Full of shit”. For stating what happened. While plenty of other people stated their stories.

not to totally start anything but to end the conversation i use 12 in 3rd strike if i lose its not because i’m using twelve, its cuz i lost. i use low tiers and highs, i’ve played dyne 12 vs 12 beat him and he complains that all i do is jump roundhouse. i personally think some people use low tiers and odd’s to have an excuse for losing cuz they know that if they used the best they would just be another face in the crowd. but even doing semi decent with low tiers gets them recognized.
