NEW Up to Date Rules: Updated April 18th 2011

Its not charging to accommodate for paypal fees thats against their tos, its specifically listing an extra charge for paypal fees.

it’s like winning an ebay auction and the guy tells you to pay for his paypal fees. im sure you’d say no thanks. but you’re right if they were smart enough they should add up the paypal fees before they start a sale but what im saying is people on here still ask for the initial price then after i pm them they ask me to pay for additional paypal fee, no thanks. i just wanted to point out that it’s against terms of service especially if they blatantly ask for fees after the deal goes down:rofl::rofl:

sadly enough this is still a problem on srk

Wow that’s pretty low, i mean you’re already set price & then they still charge an extra for paypal fees? Wow haven’t experience that yet…Im surprise they dont charge you for getting out of bed & goto the postoffice fee…

The ones i dont like is when you already gave a pm & they agree…Then magically they raise the said price or somone out bid you…

Took our monitor man.

really sorrrryyy guys i seriously wanted THAT monitor for a while but couldnt afford the new price tag for it. it was perfect timing because i just built a new computer. hey i’ve let a few things slide here this past week:woot:

i am going to sell a nice 19 inch hp lcd this coming week for pretty cheap if you guys need that just look out for it. : /

Been registered here for a while.
I registered back in the day before I was even connected to the internet.

More recently, I have acquired a PS3 and been playing fighting games again and started regularly reading and participating here in forums.

I am looking to buy a japanese Swap Magic 3 disk (PS2) but because of the minimum post rule I cannot start a thread WTB (Jap PS2) Swap Magic Disk…
I don’t really want to spam my post count either…

Soon I will have a couple of modded sticks for sale too, It would be nice to be able to use these boards.

So I guess my question is, are any admins able (and willing) to facilitate me in any way to be able to use these Buy/Sell and Trade forums ?

Many Thanks

^
wowww that has to be some kind of record. 2002 register with under 50 posts holy cow.

Best solution: Actually post.

pointless comments like this… LOL
16 more to go and counting…

I appreciate that the rules are in place to protect us, so its all good

So just to be clear, is posting a thread for an 09er who wants to sell something okay? There’s nothing in the rules about that from what I can tell.

6th months. hmm… I think money order is the way to go.

So i take it if someone wants to sell something from eBay and they list it on eBay and then want to post it here they can’t because not joined for 6 months? cuz that section of the rules i really wasn’t sure if that applied to ebay aswell.

It also applies to ebay.

Do i need to meet the 6 month / 50 post rule to post a “WTB” topic as i’m after a custom / hacked 360 pcb and it might be a long wait if i have to.

I only signed up a few weeks ago too

Thanks

if you somehow get admin approval then ya.

6m/50p is for selling/trading items if you are 09 or above.

while i do think there should be a minimum requirement to sell/trade i do think 6 months is a bit too much. i think that standard 3 month probation period for jobs should be reasonable for selling/trading.

I tried to get it down to 3 months/50 post, but the admin never replied back…so I doubt they are taking anymore suggestions right now. It sounds like a good idea though, even though 500 post is quite a bit (even if they spam).

The mods of trading forums really just enforce the rules, it gets kinda ackward if we just ok things like in other forums.

Just figured there were so many alternatives, why shouldn’t we take advantage of them? When it comes down to it, it makes me sad to think I need to wait till Sept

They probably feel like whatever we have now is fine, who knows though something may happen in the future.
