Posting ebay links period probably should be stopped if the person hasn’t met the time. On one occasion, I noticed where someone had the same SRK and ebay name when they posted a link to some item they were talking about. I have a feeling people are just being like:
“Hey, look at this cool stick on ebay - LINK - Someone should really pick that up”, while it’s really just their own item they are trying to draw attention to.
What the story on 09ers trying to set up a web shop? I’m treating them the same, but I know that a few people like ModChipMan.com have been able to get admin approval. Is there some kind of appeal process they can go through? Here’s the thread I’m referring to if it helps:
I think it’s sort of crappy you guys shut down his thread… he had great communication, he is paypal verified and accepts credit cards, their is a lot of protection their. He also actually has stock.
hey fellow shoryukeners, I talked to Mr. Wiz and I agree with what he said. I will get my warehouse set up soon so that there will be a physical location for my business. I will probably get the warehouse this week and start moving all my stuff to the warehouse, in the mean time you guys can still check out my site and email me. I’ll be on SRK to answers all of your questions, oh pwningnewbs, raeli, and catchafire, your items has been sent out and your tracking confirmation has been emailed. It’s been a pleasure doing business.
raeli: your backordered items will be sent out on a second shipment.
So I joined back in Feb 09, but I already have 70 post. Does the rules say have 70 post AND be here for at least 6 months? or is it just one or the other? Please let me know if I can sell
Yeah, I groan every time I see this. If there isn’t a rule against this there ought to be. It’s explicitly against the PayPal TOS. You’re welcome to bump up the price a buck or two, but don’t come out and say “Please add 3% for PayPal.”
yea, paypal fees shouldn’t have to be covered by the buyers. When I sign up for Paypal, I explicitly know that I will be charged a fee every time some one pays me, but as a seller it is my duty to pay that fee for the convenience of having paypal as a payment form. If sellers don’t agree to pay the 3% or so, then they should find some other portal of payment.
Curious how do you guys feel about retaliation feedback?
Also, i ordered some dvds about 2 weeks ago, paid for priority shipping yet i have yet to receive them. I pm seller & has not replied back to me. Say it arrives in 3 weeks, does this warrant positive feedback? Neutral? Negative? No feedback at all?
Do I meet the minimum requirements to sell yet? I am registered in January, would I have to wait til the 7th month to sell or can I sell now because it is the 6th month? Thanks!
the 1st part:
i saw both your feedback. i dont know the full story but was the stick shipped with enough protection for it so it wouldnt arrive damaged? if the seller didnt use enough protection then it’s his fault. so i kinda want to hear your side of it too. if there is proof that it’s seller’s fault then retaliation feedback should be removed imo and the seller should get an infraction of some type.
2nd part: the guy straight up deserves a bad feedback especially with no communication. right now im dealing with 2 people on another forum that have not sent me stuff in over 2+ weeks i straight up filed dispute for paypal and left them bad feedback on the forum. they knew it was coming.
please update on the situation especially the 1st part i’d like to see how it gets resolved on srk. …time to eat food my pizza’s getting cold from replying haha.
