Yeah I noticed people really using his jabs for sure but I didn’t see much use of the pogo though. His roll looks so fun to mess around with too. General runaway with it but also I liked how you could do that spring forward move after the roll into a jumping attack.

Good to hear you’ll be there on the 8th. I’ve been to Game Galaxy twice since I’ve been back but Richard and crew have been running all the tournaments since I’m sure you have the baby and everything. I don’t know if I even put the article up on here but back home in NJ somebody is opening an arcade in a really nice downtown section of Red Bank. They are running it kind of how you do with the SF hourly set up except with all games. Sick hours too since there is a big bar scene! I’ll be sure to try and check if they have plans to do events and if not I’ll probably try and talk with the owners. I recorded a video of the tournament a couple weeks ago when we had that good turnout so I can’t see how he could watch that and not want business.

So… the fighting game scene here fucking rules. I’ve been playing KoF2002 every day. I LOVE KoF. I never knew!!! Right now my team is Angel, Kula, and Benimaru. I’ve been playing Vampire Savior as well. It’s funish but I don’t know what high-level play would be like. So far the only character that has really meant anything to me has been Talbain.

I’m so excited for KoF13.

The guys here seem to be completely OK with picking up random fighting games. We’re talking about GG XX AC, Samurai Showdown 5 Special, Last Blade 2, etc. Trying to figure out what else to add to the rotation. There are get togethers every 2 weeks or so and a bunch of people get on skype and play online nightly. I’ve been meeting up with the same crew of ‘fighting game naturals’ every night to play various games.

speaking of KoF13, when does that come out? From watching various footage of the game I’ve been wanting to try it out.

Hey, later someone should try playing KoF2002 with me on GGPO to see how it feels. I played someone in the USA a bit ago and it felt ok.

I contacted that venue on Facebook and they said there will be regular tournaments for all the fighting games so I’m souped. Finally a scene back home, hopefully we have good unknown competition.

He looks more legit every time I see gameplay footage of him. He can cancel nearly everything into flight, which results in free mixups.
